Bottom-funnel content for B2B software companies | Freelance content writer | Clients: HubSpot, Sinch, Zapier

Most people picking between Make and Zapier are asking the wrong question.

They obsess over “which is cheaper?” without accounting for how they build.

Zapier charges per task. Make charges per operation (including triggers and failed steps). 

A workflow that looks cheaper on Make can quietly drain credits if you’re polling for data every 5 minutes.

After digging into both platforms, here’s the short version:

Zapier wins if you want something running in under 10 minutes and you’re okay paying a premium for simplicity.

Make wins if you need branching logic, loops, and error handling — and you’re willing to climb the learning curve.

But there’s a third option 👀. One that allows you build apps and automations in one place.
