• Managing global competition processes for a U.S.-based grant-maker, and evaluated over 10K proposals from early-stage social entrepreneurs. Led to the disbursement of $1.3M+ in seed funding to ventures solving global poverty.

• Launched 3 global competitions cycles, and organized virtual office hours with over 2000 registrants as well as an in-person workshop in Lagos, Nigeria, with over 110 attendees.

Fora's Global Summit program brings together accomplished young trailblazers from around the world for a year of leadership development, advocacy, and policy-creation training. Every session, networking event, and opportunity is designed to propel them forward on their leadership trajectory and help them advocate for gender equity in their local communities.

Lex Lata Centre for International Law and Comparative Constitutionalism in Africa

In this role, I was in charge of running the operations of the centre and overseeing research, recruiting, events and branding projects.

Highlights
• Led the design, planning and implementation of multiple non-profit events and research projects in international development. 

• Organized a virtual workshop that equipped 335 students with tools and resources to thrive and excel in their careers. Secured the participation of high-achieving professionals from USAID, Shell, African Developmental Bank Group, and Walkers.

• Designed fund-raising strategy, drafted reports, and measured the centre’s impact through surveys, and interviews. 

• Created a quarterly newsletter with over 700 recipients. Edited news and information contained in the newsletter. 

• Initiated a new platform for the Centre's blog which led to over a 200% increase in views.

• Identified, assessed and onboarded 2 remote hires.

Senior Project Analyst

In this role, I:

• Developed detailed project management workflows and created an e-record system which increased efficiency by nearly 200%. 

• Led the design, planning and implementation of 6 non-profit events.

• Organized the first edition of a virtual workshop that equipped 280+ students with tools and resources to excel in their careers. 

• Supervised 3 research projects in international development which analyzed regional policies on democracy. 

• Assessed over 70 internship applications, administered written tests, and conducted interviews in 4 weeks. 

• Drafted minutes of meetings, edited research papers, and collected and analyzed data.

• Analyzed security policies in Africa, and drafted a 60+ pages report of solutions to insecurity in Africa.

• Moderated a session on gender equality, and organized a leadership workshop on the role of youths in post-pandemic recovery.

• Designed Instagram filters with Spark AR, and created a newsletter which led to 3x engagement on social media.

• Led 25 delegates to discuss the criminalization of abortion in Africa, and proffer policy reforms.  

• Drafted a 52-page document to aid the research and collaboration of delegates.

I was the co-chair of the futuristic Security Council which discussed the Arctic territorial disputes. As co-chair, I: 

• Researched and drafted a 28-page document to help students research and debate at the conference.

• Developed a crisis timeline, graded position papers, and provided feedback on research and recommendations of students from all over Europe.

I am excited about the redistribution of resources into the hands of those who need them to make the most impact. 

This has been the thread of my journey, from studying law to student leadership, development research, starting a female-focused social enterprise, and now, connecting first-time social entrepreneurs to seed funding. 

I am passionate about serving others and helping them make a meaningful impact in their lives and their communities. I do this through social entrepreneurship, storytelling, operations, and strategy. 

I excel at helping impact leaders make smart operations and communication decisions. I also work with organizations as a speaker and partner, supporting them to succeed in making real change. 

At Sisterly HQ, I empower Nigerian women by providing them with access to inclusive stories, opportunities, and skills training. 

We serve over 50,000 women across digital platforms, redistributing opportunities such as jobs, internships, and scholarships, organising career development programs and sharing inspiring stories.

At D-Prize, I help fund early-stage founders who are tackling poverty in Low- and Middle-Income Countries through evidence-backed interventions. 

I am a Western Union Foundation Fellow, a Vital Voices and Estée Lauder Emerging Leaders Fund Visionary, and a Common Purpose Global Legacy Awardee.
