Some PMMs get promoted without delivering impact.
Others deliver without getting promoted.

Who rises fastest in PMM often has very little connection to who’s doing the best work.

You can…

Deliver on time (or early).
Nail the largest launches.
Talk about what you accomplished.

But you still don’t get noticed.

Here’s why 👇🏻

You haven’t mastered the art of strategic visibility.

Strategic visibility is what will earn you trust, influence, and ultimately, a seat at the table.

What most PMMs don’t realize is that visibility isn’t about volume, it’s about framing.

Two PMMs can do the exact same work, but the one who gets noticed is the one who knows how to position it.

→ Good PMMs talk about what they did.
→ Better PMMs talk about what they solved.
→ The best PMMs talk about what they made possible.

They draw a straight line from their work to business outcomes, and they build simple, predictable rhythms for sharing results.

You can think about it like this:

→ TASK LEVEL

The PMMs who stay overlooked tend to communicate at the task level:

“We launched X.” “We shipped Y.”

It’s accurate, but it’s not particularly meaningful.

→ PROBLEM LEVEL

The PMMs who start getting traction shift to the problem level:

“Here’s what we unblocked.”
“Here’s what improved because of this work.”

People start to see the connection between PMM and progress.

→ POSSIBILITY LEVEL

The PMMs who become indispensable operate at the possibility level:

“Here’s what this made possible for customers.”
“Here’s how this moved the business forward.”

Now they’re not seen as executors, they’re seen as strategic drivers.

Language shapes perception. 

So if you’ve been feeling overlooked, start here:

1️⃣ Reframe your updates from what you did to what it unlocked.
2️⃣ Share results on a repeatable cadence (even the small ones).
3️⃣ Show how you moved the business forward, not just how you launched features.

That’s how the best PMMs get the praise (and promotion) they deserve.

If you've been going back and forth about your homepage headline for weeks, I have some great news for you:

IT'S NOT A TATTOO. 

You can change it if you see that it doesn't resonate the way you hoped it would.

It's Poland's Independence Day today 🇵🇱 
I never was big on celebrating this day, but this year it hit me different.

If you don't know, Poland wasn't considered an independent country for 123 years, and we regained our independence in 1918 (so a little bit over a 100 years ago). 

I was born in a free, sovereign country. And I've always took it for granted, to be honest. Even thought I heard stories from my great-grandma, who was born in 1906 and lived 96 years, so I was fortunate to have her in my life for 12 years. It all felt just like an abstract fairytale.

Now, my daughter is 6 and for the first time she started asking about the Independence Day. She also had classes about it at school and learnt about historical events.

When we started talking about it, and having in mind everything that is going on in the world right now, it hit me different: I stoped taking it for granted. At the same time, I'm proud and happy that my daughter lives in a free, independent country. 

Here's to Poland, the country I love and I'm proud of 🇵🇱

We want our launches to be fun and engaging, but our resources are often limited. 
So we end up with a static slideshow that screams “booooriiing” 🥱. 

Does it sound familiar?

A few years ago, I led a launch campaign for a product that was supposed to change how social media managers prove and report on their social media ROI.

The product was neat. It allowed our users to do their job in minutes, not days, so they could test their ideas faster and allocate budgets smarter.

But there was one catch: to experience it fully, the users had to integrate their Google Analytics accounts with our product to see relevant data. Most social media managers didn’t even have direct access to it. And even if they did, they weren’t Google Analytics experts, or didn’t have the right setup.

Showing them how awesome our tool was without this setup was freaking hard. The dummy we had in our only demo account was too generic.

We wanted our demo to have the “wow” effect to show how game-changing our new feature was. But there was no time or resources for fancy, dynamic, interactive demo videos. 

Instead, we got a static, slide-show-like prototype in Figma. It said anything but “wow”. And definitely didn’t let our customers FEEL the product.

🤕 It made everything much harder for us. 

God, how I wish that I knew Guideflow back then! 🤩
