As an Associate Director within the EMEA Hedge Funds Services division at SS&C GlobeOp, I have the privilege of leading a dedicated team focused on managing the OTC Derivative portfolios of esteemed European Fund houses.

I oversee various critical processes of trade life-cycle management to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of Net Asset Values (NAVs), addressing valuation queries, and providing invaluable support to fund accountants regarding P&L and NAV inquiries.

A significant aspect of my role involves fostering strong client relationships. I actively engage with senior-level stakeholders to gain insight into their unique needs, address inquiries promptly, and deliver unparalleled service that exceeds expectations.

As a key member of the management team, I play an active role in strategic discussions and goal-setting initiatives. By contributing insights and leveraging my expertise, I collaborate with colleagues to drive organizational success and achieve our shared objectives.

•	Providing support and expertise to the client,portfolio managers and hedge fund traders throughout trade lifecycle relating to booking of trades, rectifying errors, settlement of  daily cash flows on the portfolio and  collateral activities based on Initial margin, Variation margin and Mark to Market of  OTC products for back office and middle office at a portfolio level for all products.

•	Strictly following all the regulations such as EMIR relating to reporting of trades and affirmation and confirmation as per products.

•	Affirmation and Confirmation of all OTC trades on electronic platforms on markitwide portals such as ICE Link,DTCC, MarkitWire,MarkitServe,Triana and various prime broker and Investment bank portals or on paper (scanned) where required as per ISDA.

•	Pre-settlement and Post-settlement of all the Cash Flows on behalf of the clients for all the products, preforming Cash rec with the prime broker accounts and also  quarterly rolls for CDS included.

•	Settlement of daily collateral with the counterparts at a portfolio level taken into consideration the CSA, Minimum Transfer Amount(MTA), daily MTM, exposure and the amount of collateral already pledge or received .

•	Liaison between trading desk, reconciliation and control group, and counterparties to resolve any economic discrepancies on trades in timely, efficient manner as per ISDA.

•	Resolve queries from the Desk, Settlements, Trade entry, Collateral, Fund Accounting, Legal and other areas in the firm. 

•	Assisting valuation, settlements, fund accounting and trade upload team for timely processing of trades and achieving higher client satisfaction

•	Training the department on basic and exotic Derivative  products relating to their valuation, functioning and operation in the market and within the system of the company.

•	Giving presentations to company top management and client visits about how the adminstration part is handled within the company for the fund.

•	Perform extensive analysis & market research for appropriate comparables of residential properties and make adjustments to determine the ideal valuation for defaulted properties in USA real estate markets for investors.
•	Review, reconcile and assign market values to the assets by reviewing the valuation of the properties which assist the investors to determine the fair market value of the properties.
•	Detailed review of default appraisals, broker price opinion (BPO) covering all residential property type.
•	Assess performance of certified / licensed appraisers and brokers, follow-up for undelivered or late orders and inform management of appraisal and BPO quality trends.
•	Proactively suggest process improvements and perform quality control of default appraisals and BPO.

•	Reconciliation of Income and corporate action trades for Equities, Bonds, Real Estate (REIT) stocks, Mortgage and Asset backed securities and Security lending on loan positions for global markets such as USA, European and Asian Markets.

•	Liaise with various teams to provide support for effective and efficient process delivery to Clients, Market and Lending Brokers, Sub-Custodian, Internal and External Teams on a daily basis and ensure accurate payments to be paid the clients in a timely manner.

•	Research of trades, clients and brokers accounts as per the respective market trading cycle by comparing the payments received on securities with the internal system entitlements as per the Ex date, Record date and Pay date.

•	Supervise, motivate and provide continuous training to the Team Members under my supervision and report the performances to the Team Leader.

•	Manage the daily reporting, reports generation, business calls, official and escalation mails, aged claims/items and internal account funds.

•	Verification rights to verify system amendments relating to claims, client entitlements or trades that are processed manually, risk management in terms of error free processing and limiting Fx exposure.

•	Processing the payments and meeting tight deadlines on a daily basis, work under pressure situations to provide best service to the clients.

•	Record Retention of business documents with timely filing and archival to assist in auditing process and for urgent matters and provide checklist and reporting of EOD to the higher management.

In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am passionate about mentoring aspiring finance professionals for exams such as CFA and FRM. 

As a CFA Level Candidate 3  and FRM Level 1 cleared, I am committed to continuous learning and development, continually enhancing my skills to stay at the forefront of the industry.

Through a combination of education and hands-on experience, I have developed a deep understanding of various financial instruments traded on both exchange and OTC markets globally. 

My expertise extends to analysis, valuation, and operations at a portfolio level, encompassing equities, bonds, ABS, MBS, REIT stocks, and a wide range of derivatives including CDS, FXO, IRS, Options and more.
