- User Experience Designer by profession, having built check-in kiosks, mobile, and web applications UI
- Transformed into Sales Leadership and now to LinkedIn Personal Branding Expert and Content Creator
- Built my first business over 16 years ago 
- Lived and worked in 6 countries: the US (New York), Sweden (Stockholm), Spain (Malaga), the UK (St. Helens), Germany (Furtwangen), and Estonia.

It’s been 3 weeks since I last posted.

For a good reason:

After Lapland, I had one day to finish deadlines and pack my bags.

To go from -20 degrees to 35 celsius.

From cruising frozen lakes to tropical lagoons.

From searching for reindeer to looking for crocodiles.

Three weeks of traveling through Sri Lanka.

Usually, I keep posting on socials while I’m away.

Sharing as I go.

But this time, I chose a break.

To fully enjoy the moment instead of thinking about content.

Now I’m back and working on (new) brand films.

And I will share some stories from the adventures.

Lapland isn’t just a destination. 

It’s a battle between extremes:

While traveling there, I built a visual storyboard.

What is it that draws me in so much?
It’s the contrast between opposites:
Cold ↔ Warmth
Stillness ↔ Speed
Snow ↔ Fire
Blue ↔ Orange

As a filmmaker, these extremes are what make a place come alive.

The same tension is what makes a film come to life.

Without contrast, everything feels flat.

Would you go there and experience it yourself?

We woke up at 5:30, disoriented.  Is it really worth it?

I really like going where the locals go.

And what better place to visit than the local fish market?

Okay… that might not be the best early-morning activity for two people who don’t even like fish.

Still, we left the hotel and hopped on a tuk-tuk.

Apparently, our driver was already on his way to the fish market.

Soon, we learned he had worked there for years.

He knew his way around and guided us through the market.

Showing us every corner and every type of fish.

As a filmmaker, I see stories everywhere.

It’s a magical place to walk around and shoot.

Among hundreds of people, I only spotted two other tourists.

It was absolutely worth the experience.

Which photo is your favorite?

We almost skipped this fishing town.

That would have been a mistake:

After 20 hours of traveling, we were exhausted.

The kind of tiredness where everything feels like a blur.

Still, we decided to hop on a boat tour.

What started as “let’s just see something” turned into a dive straight into culture.

Not only did we get a glimpse of Sri Lanka's beautiful nature.

I’ve never seen so many fishing boats next to each other: hundreds of them!

Layered in colors. Bumping gently against one another.

After passing the harbour, we entered the largest lagoon in Sri Lanka.

The boat stopped at a sandbank we were seated by the water for some local snacks. The most delicious mango I've ever had.

Quiet. Exactly what we needed after a long travel day.

The fish market was another story, though.
