Summer Applegate🍏

With over 15 years of experience in the radiopharmaceutical industry, including alpha and beta-based therapies as well as stand-alone and companion diagnostics, I've worked across the entire spectrum of drug development and associated execution from Phase 0 to Phase 4. My expertise also extends to isotope and drug product manufacturing, commercial strategy and execution, and business development and licensing. Having worked in companies ranging from pre-IPO biotech startups to Fortune 19 corporations, I bring a unique perspective to the field. This diverse background allows me to see the big picture and understand the unique interdependencies between drug development, manufacturing, and business strategy in this specialized industry. I develop and execute strategies tailored to the specific needs of radiopharmaceuticals, including isotope selection and the design of commercially viable clinical trials that appeal to investors and potential strategic partners.

Currently, I serve as a board member of the Council of Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturers and have previously been a board member of the NIST National Radionuclide Measurement Assurance Program. I have also been an invited speaker and panelist at various national and international conferences, including serving as program chair of the Targeted Radiopharmaceutical Summit.
