In this role, he drives cross-functional launch programs that align product and marketing organizations to bring Google AI innovations to market with clarity, scale, and impact.

With over a decade of experience spanning entrepreneurship, venture capital, management consulting, and technology operations, Tanaka has built a track record of driving strategic initiatives, scaling complex programs, and building the operational foundations that enable global teams to succeed. He is recognized for tackling ambiguous challenges with structured analysis, aligning diverse stakeholders around common goals, and delivering measurable impact through clear strategy, disciplined execution, and collaborative leadership.

Beyond his core role, Tanaka serves as a Startup Success Manager for the Google for Startups Accelerator, supporting Black and African founders. He works closely with startup executives on business development, hiring strategy, and fundraising—helping them scale their companies and connect with Google’s global network of resources, mentors, and investors.
