My story:  Years ago, when I wanted to break into creating direct mail for magazine publishers, I launched a “contact campaign” to just two dozen VPs of circulation at the big Manhattan-based publishing houses. It was a rapid 100% market penetration from a campaign that cost less than 100 dollars.
