Hey there! It's Stuart!

Over the last 30 years, I have been teaching, coaching and mentoring various leaders at different stages of their growth. 

I've a MBA, and also an MSc in Organizational Psychology. 
My background is in Linguistics and Counseling psychology. 
It puts me in a situation where I actually read people and situations really well. 

This helps me to be a detailed solution creator for organizations who might feel stuck or not know where to go.

I've spoken to well over 500,000 people globally. 
It's been a joy to see them learn new things and expand. 
I'm excited to see people grow and flourish. 

The reason why is because of the number of mentees I've worked with in the past, who have flourished to unbelievable levels, materially, socially and emotionally. 

Some are giants of industry today, others are out of depressive cycles, and still others have found their joy.

Very often, I'm tasked to speak to the senior management group due to my ability to contextualize quickly.

Or to be put to mediate and facilitate difficult conversations.  
I have personally been through many such challenging events in my own life, and therefore empathize with emotional frustrations, anxieties and fears.

As a people developer, I believe in the highest intentions of other people. 

I'm also sensitive to the needs of others, and always do my best to align the needs to the common good.

I see connections of ideas and people where others do not, and innovate along those lines to produce unconventional results in simple ways. 

I adapt to my coachees, and look at ways to present new perspectives so that they liberate themselves from stuck situations.

Many of my programs are designed with the intention of drawing from the "inside-out" approach, helping individuals recognize their inner power, and helping them to create a positive bridge in their communication with others. Personal Mastery, Leadership development, Team Development and Conversational Intelligence are all elements I love working on with BU heads and HRBPs.

Because of my vast experience, I tend to bring together an integrated mix of inspiration and activity, so that we're not just listening to lectures, but really practically building skillsets or engaging in conversations. This elevates training programs to become living communities of learning.

As a coach, I work to heal inner psyche, be it founders or business leaders. It allows them to evolve to higher levels of functioning, make better decisions and achieve better results.

Unlike many other speakers and executive coaches, I'm privileged to have a significant understanding of the corporate environment, specifically with international and multinational corporations from 20 years of experience in the workforce - with 10 of those years immersed in working within a corporation – negotiating at the top level for high-value contracts in the travel and expense management industry. After that, I left my corporate role and spent the next 10 years as a Speaker, Trainer, and Executive Coach - working with luxury brands, sales organisations, as well as banking and financial institutions, including global names such as American Express, Citibank, S&P Global.

My passion to impact the lives of others arose from the struggles which I grappled with in my own life journey. As a self-confessed rebel, I was on the road to destruction at a young age of 23, battling near bankruptcy, addictions, and traumatic health issues that led to two major hip replacement surgeries with titanium implants.

My turnaround moment came when I found the courage to break through my blind spots and limitations that had shackled me since young. Known to have a huge dose of straight-up humour and authentic sharing, I aim to connect with my audience by peeling off their veneers of fear, self-doubt, and insecurity through powerful stories. 

I am a Certified Speaking Professional and commonly known as a Titanium Hipster. One of the other professional hats I wear includes my role as an Associate Director at Imageworks, a Singapore-based company.

𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 
There. I said it.

This was something I owned up to as I shared my heart for the book during our launch event.

For years - I was high functioning but secretly hating myself.
 
Perhaps you recognise this feeling, but you’re hiding it.

I did that too.

My ‘award-winning’ acting skills had hidden these demons away from others, including myself.

But eventually, the charade crumbled. My relationships were deteriorating. My career was tanking.

And everything seemed to stealing away the last sliver of respect I had for myself.

It took me years to realise I wasn’t just stuck -  I was trapped - under layers of 𝗕𝗦.

What’s a BS?

I see it as a toxic cocktail of 3 things:
 
🍸 Blind Spots – The things we can’t see about ourselves, but everyone else can.
 
🍸 Belief Systems – The invisible scripts running our lives that keep us caged.
 
🍸 Bull Stories – The excuses, the justifications, the stories we spin to avoid discomfort.

All of these took me down—a descent into addiction, near-bankruptcy, & traumatic health issues.

Writing InSide was like a surgery for the soul.

The book is a collection of failures, truths, & lessons about breaking through your BS so you can finally influence yourself—before you influence others from a place of truth.

I felt the room’s atmosphere shift as people started sharing their authentic experiences with each other – reconnecting through realness.
