Carrot cake has become my unexpected success metric 🥕


When Vukasin reached out to me to talk partnerships for HeyReach.io, I wasn't even looking for a job. I was nested in my freelance consulting with few solid clients and my definition of freedom.

But here's the thing: I was celebrating every win alone.

Then Vuk organized a catch-up with Nick Velkovski. Over carrot cake, of course.

Honestly? There was no logical reason for me to leave my freelance business. But something in my gut told me to pay attention. This young team building HeyReach .... hmmm they were shipping fast, having genuine fun, no corporate BS. The energy was contagious.

So I joined. July 2025. A company adding $1M ARR per month in outbound automation.

By the end of September, Ebru A., Nick and I were celebrating another million in revenue. Over carrot cake. In San Francisco. The tradition had begun.
