I also conducted value chain optimization and implemented operational efficiencies to reduce hardware costs across Intel by 50% by 2016, receiving the Intel departmental award for leading transformational change.

We chat around Microsoft rocket fuel program and about why partnerships beat hiring more sellers.

"What I think companies need to understand is that you can keep investing in sellers and trying to grow as you're growing, or you can go to an expert in a domain you're trying to enter, in a new market you're trying to enter, and say, 'Hey, let's work together. You do this, I do that, we're the yin to each other's yang, and let's go sell together to a mutual customer,'" Juhi told me.

Yin to yang. Complementary. Mutual customer.

But here's what makes partnerships actually work: 
1: "What makes partnerships successful is having the right ideal client profile. If you both are selling to the same customer but you're complementary, then that's gonna be a great partnership."

Same customer. Complementary solutions. That's the foundation.

2: "Set up goals, so it's really clear from the start what you're solving for, define what you're investing into the partnership, all of that in place, a lot of that fear can be taken away because you're really clear on outcomes and how you're gonna execute and you have guardrails," Juhi explains.

Clear goals. Clear investment. Guardrails.

"If it's not working, that's great. We can shake hands and move on or try something new."

No fear. Just clarity.
