Room & Board is an American modern furniture and home furnishings retailer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

• Home furnishings sales, interior design consulting and space planning.
• Ranked among the highest performers every year in sales results and customer satisfaction.
• Highest store sales performer in 2019 (well exceeding $1M).  
• Created excellent shopping experiences for customers from the initial meeting, through ongoing customer communication and post-delivery follow-up.
• Fostered brand loyalty and achieved consistently high customer satisfaction survey scores and online reviews. 
• Developed and nurtured long-term working relationships with customers and interior designers, generating significant repeat business and referrals, thereby expanding the customer base.

Customer Experience Leader (CEL): 
• Onboarding, organizational socialization, new-hire training, mentoring and continuing education. 
• Facilitated, planned, coordinated and assigned daily professional development meetings for all teammates -- improving the entire team's knowledge, skills and effectiveness. 
• Spearheaded initiative to integrate kaizen (continuous improvement) practices.  

Furniture Merchant: 
• Comparative store sales analysis.
• Strategized and collaborated with Store Manager, Visual Associate and Inventory Associate to determine which assortment items, materials and finishes to display to show range and maximize sales. 
• Collected feedback from customers and co-workers to recommend merchandising changes to increase sales results and meet customer needs.
• Maintained a dynamic inventory accounting of all furniture on display.

Design Associate

FIDM

The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is a private, for-profit college in California. It offers degree programs in a variety of majors, including fashion, entertainment, beauty, interior design, and graphic design.

• Enrolled students pursuing various careers in the Interior Design, Graphic Design and Fashion industries to FIDM campuses.
• Phone outreach responding to warm leads from prospective students aimed at scheduling in-person meetings on campus.  
• Conducted in-person interviews, career counseling, sales presentations and campus tours for prospective students and their parents, emphasizing the features and benefits of receiving an education at FIDM, resulting in consistently high enrollment rates. 
• Assisted students with registration, financial aid, scholarships, etc.

Admissions Advisor

I’ve been spiritually-oriented since my teen years.
I was also religious at one point, but I no longer subscribe to any organized religion and now identify as “spiritual but not religious”.
I’m interested in Universal Spiritual Principles which transcend all faiths.
Love is my religion now.

Meditation changed my life.
I began meditating consistently in July 2018, and that greatly accelerated my spiritual evolution and created a positive ripple effect into every aspect of my life.

Most people experience an extreme hardship as the catalyst for their spiritual awakening process.
Perhaps you’re experiencing one now.
I can relate.
In my case, the extreme hardship happened at the apex of the pandemic, after my awakening had already begun.
Despite consistently being among the top performers, I and other long-term colleagues were laid off in favor of newer, cheaper employees.
My severance package was a pittance, considering my nearly 18 years of loyal service and all the millions in revenue I had generated, both directly and indirectly.
I was suddenly plunged into the Great Unknown with little money and no health insurance— all at a time of massive job losses and widespread illness and death. 
It was a scary, uncertain time.
Yes, it was an unjust betrayal by my former employer, but I knew it wouldn’t serve me to dwell on that.
Fortunately I was far enough along in my spiritual process that I sensed it could be a blessing in disguise. 
I now know God was preparing the way for me to fulfill more of my soul’s purpose.

I reluctantly got active on LinkedIn to look for work.
In time, I met kindred spirits in my worldwide soul tribe.
By the Law of Attraction, some helpful mentors came into my life who saw my potential, took me under their wing, and helped me integrate an entrepreneur mindset.

I founded ZENZOOM TRANSFORMATION to help people transform their lives from the inside out.
Spiritual awakening is an ever-unfolding miracle, but it's far from easy.
ZENZOOM provides coaching, guidance and resources to support your ongoing spiritual growth.
