He might be right.

But here’s the real question:

Not badge scans.
Not “great to meet you” emails that go nowhere.

Real pipeline.
Real conversations.
Real revenue. (Yes, we’ve got bills to pay.) 🤣

Most B2B companies treat events like awareness plays.

For us? That’s only half the strategy.

Instead of pitching everyone who walks by, we’re leading with ridiculous value. (come see for yourself 😏)

I sent half my team to Berlin on the weekend. The other half stayed with me in London.

6 years ago, I was a one-man show knocking on doors in Cambridge. I did everything myself because I had to. 

Now? Half my team is launching a rebrand for one of the biggest names in hotel tech while the rest of us run our own activation 600 miles away.

Two cities. Two massive projects. One team split down the middle.

It's been chaos (K.OS) - the good kind.

Naturally, this doesn't happen without trust. Trust that we'll all execute. Trust that we've built systems strong enough to split the team and still deliver. (at this scale)

Still getting used to this tbh, Growth deffo doesn’t feel as "clean" as I thought it would, It feels like you’re always doing too much at once 😭 But that’s when I know we’re pushing the edge and finding our feet.

Two days. Tons of conversations. And we’re all COOKING.

The activation/ event didn't entirely go to plan (a post for another day) but we learned a ton from our first trade show, had a ton of fun as team, and ironed out the kinks.
