Associate Financial Analyst - IA Strategy & Operations

Part of the biggest class of analysts within Finance and the Google’s Finance Rotational Program. Currently rotating between 4 different teams focusing on multiple product areas of Google.

Sun-Maid Growers of California

• Manage the daily Cash Flow of the company.
• Fund for all the Cash Transactions in Wells Fargo and Bank of America.
• Bank Reconciliations for the Cash Accounts.
• Complete daily Domestic or International transfer wires.

Treasury Accountant

Desert Management

During my time at Desert management I have been responsible for the following:
•	Handle weekly deposits for the CEO of the company. 
•	Managing the CEO’s finance. 
•	Prepare Monthly Financial Reports for between 40-50 HOAs
•	Run Month-End Accruals for Multiple HOAs
•	Interact with the Community Managers and Corporate Accounting Team
•	Create Monthly Journal Entries
•	Obtain Monthly Bank Statements to be reconciled
•	Reconciliation of GL Accounts and Maintain Budgets
•	Coordinate Audits with the CPA and Prepare any necessary reports 
•	Enter invoices, cut checks for 22 HOA’s in Palm Springs to pay their vendors.
•	Charge HOA dues monthly and charge a late fee after the 20th of each month.
•	Issuing pay or lien letters to homeowners that are 45+ days past due. After 15 days after the letter has been sent out will then be sent to the attorney.
•	Inputting Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) that a homeowner can have and backing out the check.

During my time at Ronald Blue Trust I was responsible for the following:
•	Perform test of controls and substantive of details for numerous audits, primarily within the real estate industry.
•	Correspond with team members to communicate the status of projects.
•	Participate in training sessions to understand how to complete tasks. 
•	Attend weekly department meetings and talk about how we can improve within our department being the audit team nationwide for this company.

Audit Intern

Crystal Ramirez-Lopez specializes in financials and bank reconciliations. Crystal has started her career young. Crystal has received her BA in Accounting at Vanguard University and became the first member in her family to ever attend and graduate college. Crystal gained experience at her time at Desert Management in the HOA industry. Took all those skills and now using those skills at Sun-Maid as the Treasury Accountant. Her love for numbers makes her continue thriving everyday during her career journey.
