No “only at birthdays.”

And you know what? I don’t owe anyone an explanation for it.

I’m 32.
I wake up at 4:44 every day.
I train 2 hours a day, 6 days a week.
I want more out of life than a hangover.

Yet I still hear things like:
“Man, you used to be cooler.”
“Just one drink, come on.”
“What’s wrong with you?”

What’s wrong?

That we live in a society where not drinking is considered strange.

If you have a friend who chooses not to drink - support them.

Discipline isn’t cool.

Training taught me one thing over the last 10+ years:

Stick. Don’t flinch.

And yes - I’m a risk taker by default.

I knew it would be hard. On paper, I shouldn’t win. Others had the “perfect” CV. I didn’t.

I still remember Jannik calling me while I was in Cape Town telling me I got the job.

That moment confirmed something I deeply believe:

When you feel like there’s no f* chance - that’s exactly when you should go for it.

But here’s the condition:

You need to be 110% convinced that you are the best option.

For your employer.
For your partner.
For the mission.

You need to believe their life and business will be better with you in it.

If you don’t believe that - don’t take the risk.

12 months later:

€600k+ revenue (ARR) contributed.

Because most of what we call “healthcare” today is actually sick-care. We wait until something breaks and then we try to manage it. Pills for blood pressure. Pills for sleep. Pills for energy. Pills for symptoms we built through years of neglect.

But what if the real intervention starts much earlier?

With how you move.
How you eat.
How you sleep.
How you manage stress.
And whether you take ownership before your body forces you to.

The future of medicine isn’t more complexity.
It’s more awareness.

Daily movement instead of yearly regret.
Real food instead of convenient excuses.
Understanding the root cause instead of numbing the symptom.

Because prevention doesn’t look dramatic.

4:44 AM. This morning I negotiated with myself about hitting snooze. One of those mornings.

They happen maybe 10% of the year.

The mornings when discipline suddenly feels heavier than usual.

For a moment, I almost lost the negotiation.

At that time, I had no idea what the day had planned for me.

But I knew one thing:

The person who wins the morning usually wins the day.

What I didn’t know back then:

A few hours later, I hit a new personal record.

Sometimes the hardest mornings lead to your strongest days.

We are officially live in the UNITED STATES 🤠

And I closed our first 100% US Shopify brand.

Nobody knows us there. Nobody trusts us. No case study. No brand awareness. Nothing.

Still - closed.

We started preparing end of last year. I reached out to 300+ partners to replicate the blueprint that got us to 7-figure ARR in Germany.

Same problem. Different continent.

In Germany we first had to create awareness that planning demand on gut feeling and Google Sheets is insane. Brands like HYROX or creamy fabrics understood it early. They think big. They go international. They don’t want Excel running a 7- or 8-figure business.
Funny thing?

Everyone says the US is 3-4 years ahead.

But many eCom brands there are still planning with Excel.

That’s not a weakness.

That’s an opportunity.

Last week I started reaching out to validate the problem beyond our first US client.

And yes - cracking the US will be hard.

We’re planning our first trips. Exclusive events. Market deep dives.

But honestly?

I like being the underdog.

No reputation. No social proof. Just performance.

Being underestimated is one of the biggest advantages you can have.

PS: Closing that first US Shopify brand end-to-end myself?
Yeah. I’m proud of that.

I still don’t get why people choose to train after work.

How can you not prioritize your health over everything else?

And no - it’s not about circadian rhythm. I’ve tried it all: 6PM, 8PM, lunch. Same story every time.

Evenings feel like this:

The tank is empty.

Not physically. Mentally.

You gave everything to work. Pressure, decisions, people. And then you’re supposed to lift heavy and perform? Good luck.

What convinced me was simple:

I maxed out my squat at 6AM. Fully fasted. Nothing in my stomach. And I still hit it.

Because my head was fresh. No Slack. No stress. No emotional baggage. Just me and the bar.

Training before work isn’t discipline.

It’s priorities.

If your system doesn’t work, how can you give 100% at work?

Plus: you’re way calmer afterwards. Less reactive with customers, boss, family. You already decompressed before 9AM.

Is this backed by studies?

No idea.

It’s just 10 years of CrossFit, strength and real life.

I wake up at 4:44AM. I train at 6 for 2 hours.

And even when I’m retired one day - I’ll still train in the morning.

Irony?

German brands in our space are often more advanced by now.

That’s why the upside overseas is massive.

But also the biggest challenge:

The market is so big, brands don’t even know who else exists in their own category.

In Germany, within our ICP, there are maybe 600 relevant brands.
I basically know all of them and their decision makers.

In the US?

Different universe.

I watched the episode at the airport and was fully hyped.

Because it’s a signal:

We’re on the right track.

But just like training - there are no shortcuts.

Get a few brands to trust you.
Deliver results.
Turn them into advocates.
Let them refer you to their best friends.

Demand planning is no longer a bet.

And we’ve already proven in Europe what happens when you stop guessing:

5M → 10M
10M → 20M

Most people treat it like a tradeoff. It's not.

I train 2 hours a day, 6 times a week. I'm at the gym at 6 AM. Before the world wakes up. Before the first Slack message. Before any of it.

And I've never felt sharper in business than since I made that non-negotiable.

Here's what nobody tells you: Physical discipline doesn't drain your energy for work. It creates it. The framework you build for your body - the consistency, the delayed gratification, the showing up when you don't feel like it - that exact same muscle drives revenue.

Discipline doesn't know which domain it's in.

But it only works if you set the conditions right. I prep my meals the day before. My bag is packed before I go to bed. I protect 8 hours of sleep like a deal of the year I can't miss. Because if the foundation is broken, nothing else stacks.

And the diet piece: stop copying what works for someone else. Find what works for you and commit to it fully. Half-a**ing your health is the same as half-a**ing your sales calls. The result will show.

The hardest shift is identity. Not the routine. Not the diet. The moment you decide: this is who I am now - everything else becomes execution.

Most people wait until they have time. The ones building real things know: you make the time. Or you don't. Simple as that.

Shower, breakfast, coffee. Then we go.

Last year I booked 60+ meetings. Average deal size: 50k ARR. 15% of our entire ICP in DACH.

One year ago: nobody in eCom Tech knew me. People were watching if the new guy would survive.

I did.

Now 8-figure eCommerce founders are sliding into my DMs asking if we can talk. The same people who ghosted me 12 months ago. Or declined the meeting entirely.

And honestly? That's fair. Nobody gives you their trust for free in eCommerce. You have to earn your spot. Full stop.

Here's what most people get wrong about sales: They think it's about the pitch. It's not. It's about who you are before the meeting even starts.

We built a book of business targeting the biggest Shopify and Amazon brands in the market. And what still blows my mind: a shocking number of them run demand planning and forecasting on Excel and Google Sheets. In 2026. The problem is obvious. But they only let you solve it once they trust you.

So how do you build that trust from zero?

You show up. Every single day. Without exception.

I wake up at 4:44 AM. Not because some guru told me to. Because that's when the work starts. And somewhere along the way, prospects started associating me with that time. Now when they propose 4:44 as a meeting slot - it's not a coincidence. It's a signal. They know who they're dealing with.

That's what personal branding actually is. Not a fancy bio. Not a content strategy. It's the residue of who you are when nobody's watching - made visible over time.

Consistency doesn't just build habits. It builds reputation. And reputation builds pipeline.

The market rewards the ones who don't disappear.
