Currently at kpriet coimbatore teaching in the computer science and business systems department since nov 2025.
I have an MBA in marketing and operations and an Mtech in data science and machine learning, with 15+ years in the industry and another 3 years in academia, and I currently teach technology, machine learning, natural language processing, and data visualisation and storytelling subjects hands on.

• Successfully led the entire product lifecycle for the company's first GCP-compliant Data platform, overseeing product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution.

•	Own product strategy, execution, requirements, and road map for applications around Patient Safety & Monitoring, Data Quality, Reporting, Workflow, Compliance, and Operational effectiveness. Implemented systems - Endpoint Adjudication and eTMF, hence made the organization compliant with audits finding hence saving $$ in regulatory fine. 
•	Worked with the Engineering team, Quality, Analytics, Compliance, and Business to deliver features while managing stakeholder communication, risk, prioritization (product backlog).  Implemented the global backlog to track all the requests (features and defects) across the products and standardized the request intake process. 
•	Point of contact for a lot of SCHARP tools/applications for any product-related questions. Also, responsible for conducting User demos/training and collecting feedback from users.

Product Manager - Clinical trails| IT

•	Lead effort for drafting both business and technical (functional) specs (BRD/User stores) for various projects in Patient Safety & Monitoring, Data Quality, Reporting, Workflow, Compliance, and Operational effectiveness space. 
•	Envisioned and led the development of the various patient safety features, which has significantly reduced the manual intervention and increased the productivity & event processing of the Patient Safety group by 80%, saving ~100k/year 
•	Collaborated across IT functions such as Engineering, Business, PMO, Compliance, and Analytics to deliver solutions involving process and technology. Onboarded multiple customers on the Data quality platform, hence improving the operational effectiveness of clinical trials.
•	Worked on many initiatives (process and technology) which improved the KPIs (usability, onboarding, manual steps reductions) by 50-80% across different products.   
•	Worked with the stakeholders on Change management, Gap Analysis, Root cause analysis, Prototyping (UI and UX). Also, worked with the Engineering and QA teams to manage defects (UAT) and providing fixes.
•	Build (recruitment and mentoring) a team of Business Analyst (#2).

I owned the Flood insurance assessment program. The purpose was to build features that comply with the FEMA and NFIP law in the loan origination process.                                
•	The FIAT (Flood insurance) application in its first year of launch clocked a total volume (loan origination) of > $500M. 
•	Implemented features like Mortgage Bank expedited flow, Blanket Policy, and Bulk upload, which resulted in productivity improvement of the operation group by 80% and saved $250k/year.
•	Acted as a Business leader in the organization for the Flood insurance IT program. Including owing the release of new features, conceptualizing, building/developing, testing, and going live
•	Elicited requirements by creating User stories and Business Requirements, defining acceptance criteria. Also, worked on mock-ups/wireframing and UI designs to enhance the digital experience of the end users.
•	Documented functional requirements utilizing various techniques, including use cases, data flow diagrams, swim lanes diagrams, process/workflow diagrams, screen mock-ups, etc.
•	Worked with cross-functional groups like Legal and Compliance, Operations, and Business to consolidate, standardize, and document the bank operations around regulatory and credit compliance.
•	Facilitated solution testing (e.g., Beta, UAT) and related issue management.

As part of the Energy and Telecom org, I had the opportunity to work on various strategic initiative like workflow, UI, projects to support business functions and objectives across multiple clients.

•	Telecom project: Defined Order Management System and Global repository. 
•	Utilities: Lead implementation of Outage Management System (storm), which resulted in my company getting the full scope of development work. 
•	Worked as Scrum Master for various initiatives. Responsible for Sprint planning, Product backlog and managing work (burn down chat). Defined UAT and test strategy for created and monitored test scenarios/cases.
•	Worked on Market research, Competitor analysis, and product evaluation for BPM related tools and methodology.

It was startup, and had the opportunity to work very closely with the founder Alok Shende. The  primary focus was on delivering strategic and management consulting to the Telecom clients.
