Sendcloud is an end-to-end SaaS shipping platform for e-commerce businesses, on a mission to solve shipping globally. Over the past 4+ years I have experienced Sendcloud from start-up through to scale-up phase. Building my skills while successfully riding the waves of change, over time I’ve evolved through various creative roles within the growing Marketing team. 

As a Creative Operations Manager, my current role is to set our Brand and Creative teams up for success by managing backlogs, streamlining workflows and ensuring the seamless execution of creative projects, contributing to our mission to build the most loved brand in shipping.

Creative Operations Manager

As Sendcloud and its Marketing team grew to scale-up size, from 2021 I contributed to setting up and growing an in-house Creative team, within which I was responsible for:

✓ Owning the creative process of mostly Content, Event and Partner Marketing projects and campaigns
✓ Designing a wide variety of digital and print creative assets using tools such as Adobe CC and Figma
✓ Scaling creative production for the growing Marketing team through templatization and enablement
✓ Implementing and subsequently managing our Frontify-hosted digital brand management platform

Although progressively growing towards a more specialistic creative role, I started out in Sendcloud’s then start-up sized Marketing team as an all-round marketer, with a variety of responsibilities such as:

As marketing assistant I contributed to the multimedial implementation of Bestron's (online) marketing strategy: multilingual (NL/DE/FR/EN) online editing en content creation, web design, Magento e-commerce, Amazon content management, product video development and designing of manuals, product packaging, exhibition stands and other printed promotional materials.

In 2018 I had a leading role in the in-house development of a new corporate identity for Bestron and its implementation in all brand and product communications.

Masc (nowadays merged into Proud Nerds) used to be an agency for the development of apps, IT, cloud and web, using technology to help customers take the lead. That goes beyond merely delivering a product or service: as a strategic partner, Masc actively thinks along to see what makes an organization more efficient, effective and successful.

As part of my bachelor Communication & Multimedia Design I performed a graduation research on the optimization of immersion experience in 360° video, with the final result being a video tutorial about the do's and don'ts of 360° video production.

For 12.5 years, GIEL was one of the most discussed radio programs on Dutch radio, having won a Marconi Award and the Golden Radioring. Presented by DJ Giel Beelen, the show was aired every morning between 6 and 10 am on Dutch public radio station NPO 3FM.

As an online media intern I took care of the creation of multimedia content and its publication on the website, mobile app and social media of GIEL, performed live-directed camera work and helped developing crossmedia concepts for the radio show. I was also deployed as a video editor for the national Red Cross fundraiser 3FM Serious Request 2014.
