We launched with $30k and a dream out of our shitty apartment and scaled into a national movement one wipe, one crazy idea, and one bold bet at a time.

Fast forward: DUDE Wipes became a national brand, snagged a deal with Mark Cuban on Shark Tank, and now wipes billions of butts a year across Walmart, Target, Kroger, Amazon — pretty much everywhere 🌎

But this was never just about selling wipes.
It’s about building a life of freedom ✈️, creativity 🎨, and fun ⚡️ and proving that what seems impossible is usually just what nobody’s dared to do yet 

I believe success isn’t about playing it safe or chasing approval. It’s about betting on yourself, trusting your instincts, and creating your own reality brick by brick 🧱

Along the way, I’ve learned:

As lead designer of the User Experience (UX) team within Intel's PC Client Group, I was focused on defining new platforms/products and delivering meaningful mobile device experiences that enhance people's lives.  Exploratory concept prototyping and strategic roadmaps were key activities.

Focused on driving optimal Consumer User Experiences (mobile, desktop, environments, etc.) through the creation of new transformational programs and initiatives aimed to help employees internalize the importance and value of UX in their daily work.

Responsible for User Experience, UI design concepts and information architecture support of Intel Foundry Services, a portal that provides access to hundreds of foundry collaterals and services to better support System on Chip (SOC) design teams spread throughout the world.  Responsible for supporting a large Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) study which focused on understanding the product development culture at Intel (needs finding) and informing new productivity solutions.  Drove IT business unit org transformation aligned to UCD principles by embedding business unit employees in the UCD process.

Responsible for Industrial Design leadership for Intel’s Channel Platform Group.  Drove global notebook Design strategy for five new HW standards worldwide.  Responsible for all Design activities, managed vendors/suppliers, interfaced with international Local & Regional OEM customers and offshore ODMs to develop customized, branded solutions.  Achieved design “wins” with multiple OEMs in multiple geographies.

UCD was a multi-disciplinary team of user experience researchers, designers, and engineers whose charter was to discover and translate end-user value into tangible solution prototypes to inform new business value. I was responsible for all aspects of managing the multi-disciplinary Experience Research & Design team (10+ people) in addition to UCD Staff management duties. Key Initiative: Established a functional ideation/prototyping lab where cross-functional teams could work real-time to develop new experiences, business models, and product concepts.

Also created a long-term serviceability roadmap to achieve better total cost of ownership (usability, installation, and faster, more reliable field service).

I lead creative sales and marketing initiatives that increase participation in fishing, hunting, and outdoor recreation (R3), generate revenue, and fund conservation efforts in Washington state. My mission is to help people discover their unique connection to the natural world.

As a formally trained Industrial Designer and UX/CX leader, I have a strong background in product design and development, product marketing, service design, and customer experience across tech, outdoor, aerospace, medical, and consumer markets (13 patents issued, more pending).

I enjoy leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, fostering user-centered design (UCD) principles, and enabling teams to thrive. Culture is king in any organization - without it, you have nothing.

Simultaneously during my design career in tech (Intel, Amazon, consulting), I stayed active in the outdoor and hunting industries through product development, game call design, writing, video production & photography, brand partnerships, sales & marketing, and conducting workshops & seminars.

A lifelong passion for wildlife, habitat, and natural resource stewardship has fueled adventures from the Arctic Circle to South Africa and many places in between.
