Responsible for managing the relationship for this account. My responsibility was to deepen the relationship and expand TCS's presence. I was focused on building many innovative and cutting-edge technology consulting and IT solutions for the client. I built differentiation through thought leadership and long-term value. I focused on building a strong relationship with senior IT executives and key decision makers.

Client - A Large US Financial Services Company

Responsible for managing the relationship for the life, annuities, and retirement divisions. My key responsibility was to strengthen the relationship and mature it into a long-term strategic relationship. As part of the role, I built a strong relationship with C-level executives and key decision-makers. I brought in process and rigor to systematically improve the delivery, operations, and client experience. I revamped my team and its structure to deliver certainty to the client.  As a result, I successfully closed a multi-year, multi-million dollar deliverable-based contract with the client within 1 year. The client satisfaction improved from a scale of 2.35 to 3.85 (maximum score of 5). I built a strong pipeline of opportunities by building innovative solutions for client problems.

Business Relationship Manager

Client - A Large US Home Retailer

Responsible for building the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) operations from the ground up. Built a strong team of 500+ associates in a short span of 12 months to become the then largest BPO operation for TCS. The operations included data and voice. I successfully partnered with the Managing Director, Home Depot, and India Operations. The operation resulted in high-cost savings, which was achieved through continuous improvement, lean six sigma, and process reengineering.  The top-class service delivery helped start the operations of a subsidiary company.

Account Manager, TCS BPO

Client - A high street UK Bank.

The bank had a large BPO operation with TCS which had to be transitioned back to the bank’s India unit. I was responsible for transition planning, client management, program management, service management, and contract negotiation. Through innovative transition planning, I was able to reduce transition time and save costs for TCS and the client.

Transition Manager

Responsibilities include billing and revenue analysis, projections and forecasting, effort analysis, manpower management analysis, pipeline analysis, key account reviews, strategy development and preparation of monthly reports.

Analyst, Office of General Manager, Chennai Operations

A Fortune 5 customer. Worked for their Financial Services Division. 

Managed SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle databases. Responsibilities include Setting up of Database Environment, Installation of software, database creation, database security administration, backup &amp; recovery, performance tuning &amp; optimization, porting of databases from one server to another and routine maintenance of database objects. Developed stored procedures, VBScripts and Java classes to automate maintenance and repeative tasks.  Supported developers with review of database design and development.

Database Administrator

A Fortune 5 customer. Worked for their Financial Services Division. Started as a programmer and promoted to a Module lead based on performance. 

Responsible for requirements analysis, system design, development, test and implementation support. Played a supportive role in project planning, estimation, work allocation and project monitoring. Worked in an onsite - offshore model and functioned as the point of contact for the offshore development team.
