I’ve gone through seasons in my life where it felt like the pressure would never lift.
Where the setbacks were constant, the losses stung a little deeper,
and every day felt like I was just trying to keep my footing.
And the hardest part wasn’t the difficulty itself…
It was not knowing when it would end.

But here’s something I’ve learned and maybe you need to hear it today too:
There are really only three outcomes when life gets heavy:
1️⃣You 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭.
2️⃣It eventually gets 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫.
3️⃣Or you get stronger in the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

And the crazy thing?
Most of the time, it’s #3 even if you don’t realize it until later.
Hard seasons don’t last.

But they do shape you.
They stretch your patience, deepen your character, and give you clarity you didn’t know you needed.
Looking back, some of the hardest moments in my life were quietly preparing me for the next chapter…
for the people I needed to meet,
the opportunities I wasn’t ready for yet,
or the version of myself I was growing into.

So if you’re in one of those tough chapters right now, I hope you remember this:
You won’t feel this way forever.
You won’t be in this season forever.
And you won’t walk through it unchanged.
You might not know the timeline,
but the ending always comes
and when it does, you’ll understand why you had to go through it the way you did.

👉𝐓𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬.
👉𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠.
👉𝐅𝐀𝐅𝐎 “𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭.”
Not in a reckless way.
In a learning way.

Because here’s the truth no one talks about enough:
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐲.
You can’t master anything if you’re only doing what’s safe.
And you’ll never know what works if you avoid what might not.

The uncomfortable reality is this:
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 “𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝,” 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬.

Every skill you have today started with a time where you had no idea what you were doing.
But you tried anyway.
That’s how mastery works.
Reps. Curiosity. Discovery.
Not perfection.

And here’s the part we forget:
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬. 
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Mistakes aren’t failure
they’re data.
They’re feedback.
They’re the map that shows you which direction to go next.

Most people hold back because they’re afraid of looking stupid,
afraid of doing it wrong,
afraid of wasting time.But the real waste of time is doing nothing.
Staying stuck.
Choosing certainty over possibility.

If you want to know more,
do more.
If you want to understand,
experiment.
If you want clarity,
take messy action.

Because the people who grow the fastest
aren’t the ones who know the most
they’re the ones who try the most.

I’ve been thinking about something lately
how easy it is to say we want to be in the top .1%…
but how much harder it is to quietly choose the things most people overlook.

Not in a harsh or “hustle harder” way.
More in a self-honest, self-aware way.

Because every time I’ve grown in my life,
it wasn’t from pushing myself to extremes…
it was from the small, meaningful decisions that weren’t always convenient,
but always aligned with who I wanted to become.

Things like:
• showing up when I didn’t feel like it
• choosing intention over autopilot
• having one more conversation
• doing the uncomfortable inner work
• staying consistent when no one was watching

Not flashy.
Not loud.
Just quiet commitments that slowly changed the direction of my life.

And I realized…
It wasn’t about trying to be “better than” anyone.
It was about being a better version of myself than I was yesterday.

Growth doesn’t require harshness.
It requires honesty.
It requires clarity.
It requires gently stepping into the things most people avoid 
not to prove anything,
but because you feel called to something bigger.

So if you’re someone who dreams of that top .1% life
not in a material sense,
but in purpose, peace, impact, and fulfillment
remember this:

You don’t get there by force.
You get there by alignment.
By small choices that honor the person you’re becoming.

There’s something powerful about today.
Not because it’s another day on the calendar…
but because it’s the beginning of the end 
the bridge between who you’ve been this year and who you’ll choose to become next year.
And if you’re a business owner, leader, or someone building something meaningful…
December isn’t the month you “wind down.”
It’s the month you 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩.

Because the truth is:
👉January doesn’t magically reset your life or your business.
👉What you do this month is what you carry into 2026.
So instead of writing the year off… this is the moment to get intentional.

Here are a few things worth asking yourself as we head into the final stretch:
1️⃣𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬?
Loose ends.
Old habits.
Messy systems.
Outdated offers.
Unclear processes.
If you don’t close it in 2025, it becomes baggage in 2026.

More clarity?

More delegation?

Not 20. Just 3.
The ones that actually matter
and actually move the needle.

and here’s something I’ve learned in my own journey:

Most of the breakthroughs in my life didn’t come from someone coaching me step-by-step.
They came from moments where I decided to stop waiting…
and start leading myself.
Yes, support and guidance matter.
But at some point, the switch flips
and you realize no mentor can do the reps for you.Here’s what actually moves the needle:

1️⃣𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐮𝐩 without waiting for a motivational clip or a perfect moment. 
Discipline > hype.
2️⃣𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 and treating them seriously even when no one is checking up on you.
Self-respect shows up in how you manage your time.
3️⃣𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 when things get uncomfortable.
 Accountability is an inside job first.
4️⃣𝐃𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝, not because someone’s watching…
 but because you know you’re capable of better.
5️⃣𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 before anyone else does.
Your confidence shouldn’t depend on someone else’s approval.

But here’s the part most people forget:

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟.
Self-leadership includes knowing when to delegate,
when to ask for help,
and when to bring in support so you don’t drown in tasks you shouldn’t be carrying.

Hiring the right people…
outsourcing what drains you…
and freeing your time for the work that actually matters
that’s not weakness.
That’s wisdom.

If you’re stuck, unfocused, or overwhelmed,
you don’t always need a mentor
sometimes you just need structure, clarity, and support.

But it all starts with you deciding:
“I’m worth showing up for.”

𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐁𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡

This morning on The Morning Rush, we talked about something we all do without realizing it:
We hold onto trash.
Not just physical junk
but emotional clutter, old beliefs, outdated habits, and business systems that no longer serve us.
And the funny thing is…
the trash doesn’t take itself out.
We have to decide we’re done carrying what’s weighing us down.

That led us into a conversation about experimenting, failing forward, and what it really means to grow. Someone mentioned the idea behind FAFO “mess around and find out.”
Not recklessly.
But intentionally.

Because the more you try, the more you learn.
The more you experiment, the more clarity you get.
The more you’re willing to play, the faster you figure out what works and what absolutely doesn’t.

It reminded me of something simple but true:
What you learned in little league won’t win you a World Series.
Your foundation matters,
but your evolution matters even more.

And sometimes evolution starts with acknowledging you’ve outgrown things you once needed systems, patterns, even beliefs about yourself.

Today’s highlight was Peter Swain jumping in and showing us how to use AI to free up our creativity.
He walked us through generating characters for books, building stronger prompts, and using AI as a tool to create more while working less.

And it clicked:
Taking the trash out isn’t just about letting go
it’s about making space for what’s next.
New skills.
New tools.
New levels of growth.

So here’s the real question that came up for me today:
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

I read something recently that made me pause…
and it’s been sitting with me ever since.

It said that 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲’𝐫𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.

And when I think about my own journey…
I get it.

We all have a “current self” we’ve built:
our habits,
our routines,
our comfort zones,
even our excuses.

But the version of us we want to become the one with clarity, confidence, freedom, and purpose that version requires something different.
Something new.
Something we haven’t done before.

Your potential isn’t hidden from you.
It’s locked behind the parts of yourself you’re afraid to outgrow.
Sometimes it’s letting go of old patterns.
Sometimes it’s releasing people who keep you small.
Sometimes it’s stepping into rooms that intimidate you.
And sometimes…
it’s admitting you’ve been operating at a level far beneath what you’re capable of.

Growth asks for honesty.
It asks for courage.
It asks for a willingness to evolve
even when the next step feels uncertain.

The truth is this:
𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.
A commitment to who you could be, not just who you’ve been.

Most people say they want growth, but spend 80% of their time doing things that have zero impact on their bottom line.

We confuse being busy with being productive.

This morning on 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐡, we talked about something most business owners overlook, even though it determines whether your business grows… or quietly drifts:
👉What are you actually tracking?
👉Who are you reporting to?
👉And do you truly understand your client value?

Because here’s the reality:
1️⃣𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞.
If your targets are fuzzy, your outcomes will be too.
When you’re not tracking the right numbers, it’s impossible to know whether you’re improving, plateauing, or falling behind.
𝐅𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐲 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐭.

2️⃣𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.
One of the biggest lies entrepreneurs believe is:
“I can do it all myself.”
But you’re not an island.
Your team matters more than you think not just for tasks, but for alignment, clarity, and momentum.

And that leads to one of the hardest truths:
3️⃣Not everyone is supposed to stay.
We talked about the challenge of releasing team members who aren’t contributing to growth.
Not because they’re bad people but because they’re not aligned with the standard needed to move forward.

That’s where SOPs, structure, and development come in.
Clear expectations make it easier to see who’s growing, who’s drifting, and who’s holding the team back.

I share something during the session:
“𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐠.”
In business terms?
Stop forcing the wrong fit.
Start building around the right people.

4️⃣And finally know your client value.
If you don’t know what your service is worth,
you won’t know how to improve it,
price it,
or scale it.

Tracking isn’t about numbers.
It’s about 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.
