Which is funny—because I spent 5 minutes deleting them.

Here’s the thing:

It’s not wrong to use em dashes.
They’re a legit style choice.

But right now, they’re one of the top tells that AI helped write your post.

ChatGPT leans hard on them.
So people assume: too many em dashes = must be AI.

That’s not a bad thing.
Most of us use tools. That’s the point.

But the goal is clarity, not confusion.

You want people to hear your voice—

So here’s what helps:

I did everything the business gurus told me to do.

And stayed exactly where I started.

❌ Working 10-hour days on my ecom business (excessive for me).
