•	Conducted threat & risk assessments while establishing procedures to minimize or mitigate impact or likelihood of threats 
•	Liaised among national security agencies, government officials, & senior UN officials to maintain effective working relationships 
•	Developed process improvements to mitigate threats & implement best practices

Principle Security Advisor and Liaison to NATO on Security Matters 

State of Florida

Held various Sworn Law Enforcement positions with increasing responsibility with Orange County, Florida, the State of Florida, and the City of Dade City. I began my Law Enforcement career in the corrections field, responsible for maximum-security facilities, and moved from there to being a fully Sworn Law Enforcement Officer with roles in special teams and investigations. 

While employed full-time as a Law Enforcement Officer, I also volunteered in the city of Saint Cloud, Florida, to conduct investigations into criminal actions and protect the public during a period of budget constraint for the city. 

In 1998 I was voted the Fraternal Order of Police Officer of the year.

I am extremely proud of the time I served the people of the State of Florida and only left that role to pursue an international Investigations and Law Enforcement position with the United Nations in high-risk mission areas worldwide.

Law Enforcement Officer

As Head of Security for the United Nations (UN) and in my experience as UN liaison to NATO on security matters in Northern Kosovo, I lived and worked in EMEA, APAC, and CIS+ Nations, where I leveraged my cultural agility and government relations expertise to direct global investigations, led Crisis Management Groups, and managed international incidents.  

I am internationally recognized as an expert in government relations with a specialty in Russian culture and the communication and conflict resolution methods of the Caucus region of the Russian Federation. In this region, I liaised with the Federal Security Service (FSB) and Russian Military Leadership on behalf of all United Nations Agencies, the World Bank, the US-AID, Save the Children, and the Embassy of the United States. 

I received the Medal of Freedom from the government of Colombia for my actions against illicit trade and collaboration with the government which led to the arrest of high-ranking members of a major organized crime group. I led high-risk rescue operations for diplomats in dangerous parts of Europe and trained the Armed Forces of NATO on executive protection protocols. 

I led a yearlong investigation into a terrorist attack on the United Nations in eastern Europe which led to the arrest and prosecution of members of the group. That investigation involved building relationships and working together with government authorities of the Russian Federation, The Republic of Georgia, the Republic of Abkhazia, Germany, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Sweden, and UN Leadership at the Secretary-General and Security Counsel Level.
