Carrera Partners was formed in 2008 as a result of the partnering and merging of Carrera Search & Selection (Sydney and Brisbane) and Market Partners (Melbourne) to be one of Australia's most innovative and well respected Sales, Marketing and Communications recruitment firms in the FMCG, Services and Engineering sectors.  At the end of June 2013, this partnership ceased.  

As the General Manager | Victoria, I led a team of 7 consultants to significant and consistent revenue growth and profitability, a focus on new client acquisition as well as embracing a culture of best practice and high performance.  These methodologies and practices were adopted by other offices to create greater consistency across the brand and business performance.

With national reach, bta specialises in sales and executive recruitment across all industry sectors: Information Technology (IT/ICT), Building and Construction, Industrial, Manufacturing and Engineering, Medical, Healthcare and Scientific, and Financial/Professional/Business Services.   As the State Manager | Victoria, I was hired as part of new national management team of 5 managers to implement changes to existing business practices, introduce account management approaches with our client base, identify PSA and RPO opportunities as well as evolve the business model to meet and exceed the demands of a post-GFC  competitive market.  By Christmas 2008, I was the last new manager standing due to my ability to achieve business results during times of challenge and adversity.

During my 4+ years as the State Manager | Victoria, my direction to implement best practice account management methodologies to compliment our client acquisition strategies as well as market specialisation combined with a candidate centric focus drove significant changes across the business.  These resulted in consistent increases in revenue, a dramatic increase in repeat business as well as client and candidate driven referrals.  In addition to leading a team of 10+ consultants, I also led from the front with client acquisition and individual revenue contribution. At the time, Aquent was the world’s largest staffing company specialising in the recruitment of Marketing, Communications and Creative professionals.  In 2011, Aquent restructured and their permanent business was rebranded to Firebrand.  

As the Area Manager | Melbourne, I managed all aspects of the branch’s financial, sales and operational performance with an annual revenue of $11M and a team of 11 agents, 2 Team Leaders and 3 administration staff.  Through the creation of a sales based, high performance culture, I grew GP by 19% and OP by 43% from 2007 to 2008.  I also generated greater brand awareness by speaking at various industry functions such as PRIA, InDesign, etc.
