Coraggio

Coraggio is the only fully independent Peer Advisory Board in Australia and soon to be the largest. With pre-entry requirements to become a member including, owner operator and an established minimum turnover, we assure our members have the quality of advice from true business peers.

Each board is carefully selected so that it is the right fit for the members. During the Coraggio Calendar we run on four foundation pillars. These are:

1) Strategy: Creating or revising a 10 year strategy.
2) Execution: How will you do this?
3) People: How and where will you find the right people to do this? 
4) Cash: Do you have the cash flow to implement the plan and bring it all together?

Members meet monthly for a full day to share and learn from each other. There are no sponsors at Coraggio and any guest speakers are paid, to eliminate sales pitches to the members. 

The boards are highly confidential with the aim to assist each other to ‘scale up’ their businesses. And with experienced Chair people, a lawyer and an accountant on each board, you will always be covered on business fundamentals. 

The Chairs of each board have to be experienced private business owners rather than business coaches or corporate's who have never ventured into the trenches.

CEC AV Pty Ltd. is a boutique audio-visual contracting company, with offices in Sydney and Canberra. It specialises in the design, supply and installation of audio-visual equipment in the federal and state government sector, i.e., defence and the ATO as well as education and aged care.

Technology Services Consulting Company

Specialises in the design, supply and installation of electrical, communications, security, lighting, audio-visual, control of building infrastructure across the Queensland, New South Wales, ACT and Victorian markets.

Total Concept Projects

Total Concept Projects began in 1984. What began as a small audio visual productions company then evolved into the market leading company in Audio Visual Systems Integration. Total Concept Projects (TCP) was APAC's largest audiovisual systems integration company, with clients from the Hospitality, Government, Corporate, Retail, Education and Residential sectors. The company to 180 employees in Australia with offices in Singapore and Malaysia with a turnover in excess of $200 million.

This experience is paramount to the experience I bring to working with our members in Coraggio.

Ever heard the saying “it’s lonely at the top?” Never a truer word was said for CEO, MD and Founders of Coraggio who have experienced this first hand.

Coraggio is Italian for Courage and was founded in 2010 by 12 very courageous Australian business owners. All were members of another Advisory Board company and everything was going swimmingly with monthly meetings until the 2007 GFC hit. 

One member went from a $15million turnover to $2million virtually overnight. No longer able to pay their membership fees, this member had to break the news to his board that he had to resign.

Outraged that this company wouldn’t stand by this member during their greatest time of need, all eleven other colleagues resigned on the same day and continued to meet monthly to build up the business of their fallen colleague. 

When the business was turning around within a few months they collectively decided that this was the pillar of a true peer Advisory Board support group. The courage it takes to not only be a business owner, but also the courage to truly stand by a colleague during good times and bad. 

This courage to support a fellow CEO when the going gets tough formed the foundation of Coraggio’s humble beginnings.

 Since 2010, Coraggio has grown into multiple boards across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne , so Top Level business owners need never feel alone and unsupported again. Advisory Boards of similar turnover businesses who more often than not face the same challenges as well as share the same experiences to assist each other. 

Today’s members across these states enjoy seeing on average a 19.75% annual increase in revenue as a result of their membership and $2.5 billion in combined revenue per annum.
