Negotiated and closed over $2.2 billion in multifamily/ commercial loans, composed of more than 220 transactions. 
Develop new relationships and manage existing accounts as well as build credibility and rapport with new investors, developers, managers, lenders and attorneys.
Conduct thorough sizing analyses, using financial modeling to determine loan eligibility for a broad array of property types in a variety of geographic locations. 
Review and analyze personal financial statements, schedules of real estate, loan applications and other due diligence pertinent to the underwriting and processing of each loan. 
Negotiate loan terms on secured fixed-rate, floating-rate, and acquisition loans.
Identify potential lending risks to mitigate lender’s risk exposure.

Vice President

The Community Preservation Corporation

Responsible for origination, underwriting and presentation of financial analysis and property valuation to CPC New York City Mortgage Committee for approval of construction and permanent financing for low to moderate income multifamily housing totaling over $12.7 million Fiscal Year 2011 to date.  
Work closely with government organizations and other subsidy providers to accurately underwrite loans to maximize private investment.
Evaluate problem loans in current portfolio and work with senior management, borrowers and loan participants for a resolution.
Market new loan products to potential borrowers.

Mortgage Officer

Provide support to senior loan officers for the multifamily lending process from origination to closing and conversion to permanent financing.
Responsible for ensuring that all loan commitments, financial data and loan documents are in compliance with lender guidelines.
Prepare loan commitments and any modifications required to facilitate financing.
Track and monitor performance of construction projects in development; manage status of loan conversions and satisfactions.
Order and review third party reports, construction contracts, insurance and any other items required for loan closing.
Serve as a liaison between the borrower, borrower's counsel, lender's Closing and Servicing Departments and subsidy sources.
Responsible for underwriting, presenting to CPC New York City Mortgage Committee and successfully closing four loans totaling over $42 million during Fiscal Year 2010, including a $6 million subsidized Green Financing Initiative Construction to Permanent Loan.

Assistant Mortgage Officer

Responsible for the collection and preliminary review of all Closing Documentation, the preparation of worksheets, closing letters and exhibits.
Coordinated all aspects of loan closings such as closing date, loan documents and proper insurance coverage with outside counsel, the Borrower, Insurance Agents, the respective Field Office, any participants in the loan and the internal Servicing and Accounting Departments.   
Created and developed a monthly tracking system used for the first time for both Rental and For Sale Portfolios using Microsoft Excel and McCracken Strategies. 
Ensured the compilation of the appropriate documents for loans to be sold to Secondary Markets such as Pension Funds and other banking institutions resulting in revenue for the company. 
Converted 54% of all Construction Loans to Permanent Loans for CPC between April 2003 and December 2004 totaling $80 million.
Closed 31% of all Construction Loans and new Permanent Loans for CPC between January 2005 and May 2006 totaling $230 million.

Closing Coordinator

Worked with members of SONYMA and REMIC to gather proper materials to acquire mortgage insurance for each loan and administered the maintenance of SONYMA and REMIC commitments.
Processed Construction Loan Satisfactions and Partial Payments and coordinated filing of legal documents with outside counsel.
Maintained Microsoft Access database to keep all Letters of Credit current; prepared draws and releases of Letters of Credit as necessary.

Worked with Vice President of Sales to coordinate the first ever sales contest, which was run in order to promote sales of new product.
Recorded and reviewed sales related activity within the corporate sales database.
Provided ad hoc support for the sales team including distribution of client marketing materials as well as other miscellaneous clerical duties as needed by the sales force.

I am a native New Yorker that relocated to San Francisco in 2016.

After a 20 year career in commercial real estate I decided to pursue my passion of inspiring others to be the best version of themselves. I am a Co-Active Professional Certified Coach and have started my own Life Coaching practice. 

I am the host of the podcast "The Opposite of Small Talk", with my friend Kristy Olinger where we explore topics about personal and professional development. 

I hold a Masters of Real Estate from the Schack Institute of New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware. I am very active in CREWSF  (Commercial Real Estate Women San Francisco) serving on The Board of Directors for 2021-2022.
