I've been super down the past few days and I don't know why.

I have so much to be grateful for... great family, successful business, amazing clients. But I just don't feel myself.

What you see on LinkedIn isn't reality. Everyone posts about wins, gratitude, success, how blessed they are. And those things are true... but they're not the whole story.

Behind the scenes, we're all struggling with something. Even when everything looks perfect from the outside, even when you have every reason to be happy, sometimes you just feel off and you can't explain why.

I've got an incredible family, Krystal and the kids are healthy and happy. 

Revenue Reimagined is growing, we're doing work that matters with clients who trust us. 

I survived a car crash that could have ended everything. 

I have so much to be grateful for and I genuinely am grateful.

And yet... the past few days I've just been down. I have dreamt about being sad, and low and behold... I woke up feeling sad. No clear reason, no specific trigger, just not feeling like myself. Lower energy, less motivated, going through the motions instead of being fully present. Got called out on it too. 

Social media makes it seem like successful people have it all figured out, like if you're doing well in business you must be doing well everywhere, like gratitude solves everything. It doesn't work that way.

Here's what I'm doing about it:

- I'm back to walking daily, getting outside and moving instead of sitting in front of screens all day. 

- I'm blocking time in the morning for deep work before the chaos of the day hits, giving myself space to think and create instead of just react. No meetings before 10am. 

- I'm being honest with Krystal about how I'm feeling instead of pretending everything's fine.

I don't have all the answers, I don't know exactly why I feel this way, but I know ignoring it doesn't help. Acknowledging it, taking small steps to shift it, being honest about it... that's what works.

It's okay to not be okay. Even when you have everything to be grateful for, even when life looks great from the outside, even when you can't explain why you feel down.

You're not broken, you're not ungrateful, you're not failing. You're human.

If you're feeling this way too, you're not alone. Take the walk, block the time, talk to someone who cares. Do the small things that help even when you don't feel like it.

We all struggle behind the scenes. The difference is whether we pretend we don't or whether we're honest about it and do something about it.
