In this part-time volunteer role I had the privilege of championing LinkedIn's vision of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. The outcome of my efforts was scaled training to thousands of individuals looking to advance their careers. I did this by not only delivering Rock Your Profile sessions myself but by facilitating the certification training of LinkedIn employees who volunteered as Rock Your Profile Ambassadors, enabling them to train large groups of individuals as well. Additionally, I worked closely with the global program lead to update and enhance the program's content. As part of my role, I also project managed inbound requests for LinkedIn Profile training from local non-profits and event producers, ensuring that these organizations received the necessary support and resources.

My curiousity and passion for understanding business models more closely led me to transition to work with growing companies directly on this team. My focus in this role was identifying high potential "new to Google" businesses, building relationships with their C-level executives and senior marketers, and selling in go-to-market strategies leveraging Google and YouTube’s various performance and branding ad solutions. I worked with a team of brilliant cross functional partners to provide industry and consumer insights, planning, implementation support and optimizations. The goal was to help these businesses develop a strong foundation and sustainable growth plan by demonstrating ROI and exceeding objectives via a launchpad program.

While Wildfire's solutions were eventually sunsetted, I seized the opportunity to join Google's New Business Agency team (a pilot). My primary responsibility in this role was to secure new high potential business across various Google platforms, including AdWords, GDN, and YouTube. I managed a portfolio of over 50 agency relationships and identified opportunities to generate incremental revenue for both Google and our agency partners by providing comprehensive digital strategies addressing brand and performance objectives through CPC, CPM, CPV, CPI, and sponsorships. I worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to pitch, strategize, and execute impactful campaigns. Continuous learning including gaining my AdWords certification was mission critical to being an effective advisor to our agency partners and their clients.

My time at Wildfire was transformational in many ways from being on the precipice of social media marketing in its early days to receiving best in class training on sales methodology/operational excellence to being a part our momentous acquisition by Google. As a Senior Account Executive my focus was on helping marketing executives understand the significant role social media plays in achieving broader business goals. I offered our industry-leading SaaS social media technology and services to assist enterprise businesses in executing specific initiatives and long-term strategies. This enabled the brands I sold into to effectively grow, engage, and monetize their social audience across various networks, including Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more. Success was a team sport as I partnered closely with mission critical cross functional partners including sales engineers, value solutions, operations, legal, etc. Wildfire was foundational to my career progression and an experience I will be forever grateful for.

During my five years at TheaterMania, I was responsible for selling and implementing digital/email advertising as well as ticketing software solutions to live event venues, producers, and ad agencies. My main focus was to help clients maximize ticket sales and effectively manage their marketing, fundraising, and financial data. I successfully helped train and lead our sales team in increasing our market share and revenue, while maintaining exceptional client service and support. Additionally, I played a crucial role in the development of our software and advertising products by communicating client feedback to our leadership team. My experience at TheaterMania was also illuminating from a cultural standpoint as I gained exposure to producers, artists and shows across the country deepening my appreciation for the power of storytelling in a multitude of formats and spaces.
