2025 was my BIGGEST growth year. 

And my most UNBALANCED one.

I did a lot of things this year. And I want to share them with you.

So here's my wrap-up in 5 key lessons:

1. Started the year as the first person on my team to post on LinkedIn. Got one massive viral post. But then Wajahat Mirza, Prerona Basu, and Anushka Gupta jumped in. They crushed it way harder than I did. We hit 5 million impressions as a team this year.
 

2. We were getting most leads from SEO. It worked. Still works. But we switched our time.

Started --> 20% LinkedIn, 80% SEO.
Now --> 60% LinkedIn, 40% SEO.

Next year? 90% social, 10% SEO (Social means LinkedIn, Instagram, X... everywhere).

3. Big mistake I made with partnerships this year. I tried to make SalesRobot the HERO. Wrong! The people I'm talking to they're the heroes. Once I got this, everything changed.
 

4. Watching others promote Clay and others... I realized your own voice only goes so far. We need people outside the company talking about us (SalesṚobot.co).

 
5. Going into 2026, I'm done with "Comment X for Y" posts. Moving to real content. Sharing workflows, screen recordings, and raw thoughts. Less selling, more helping.

Personal stuff: Did a marathon after a back injury. Running an NGO. Not business related, just life stuff.

That's it. 

2025 taught me to spread risk, help others shine, and get real with content.

I was about to post a rant about how LinkedIn's algorithm su*ks.

But I just fixed it... and it only took 24 hours.

I was out of office for a week. 
My brother got married, which means I'm next.
(time to move away from WFH jobs lol)

Anyways back to the topic...

I came back, opened LinkedIn, and my feed was a disaster. 
Posts from 3 weeks ago showing up as "fresh content."

And everywhere I looked... people complaining about the same thing:

→ "100K follower account is only getting 60 likes now!" 
→ "LinkedIn's algorithm is broken!" 
→ "Quality content is dead!"

I was about to join that crowd. 
Had my rant all ready to go about how the platform screwed us all over.

But before hitting publish... I tried something ridiculously simple.

I spent 20 minutes engaging with 30 RECENT posts:

→ Actually liked them 
→ Left real comments 
→ Participated like a normal human

24 hours later?

My entire feed flipped. 
Every post is now fresh from the last 24 hours.

I think people ranting about LinkedIn's algo just need to be more ACTIVE.
Because LinkedIn rewards ACTIVE users with fresh feeds. 

If you're just consuming without engaging? 
You get museum pieces.

The solution isn't rocket science... but most people won't do it.

My team has ~5 million impressions (here’s how) 

We use a simple process and it's stupid simple.

Step 1: Use Claude to create your lead magnet post

- Feed it your best-performing content ideas. 
- And let it craft posts that actually hook people.
- Not generic "here's 5 tips" garbage.
- But hooks that make people think, "damn, I need this."

Step 2: Use Gemini to create visual hooks

- Most LinkedIn posts look boring as hell.
- Gemini cranks out visuals that actually grab attention in the feed.
- My last 3 viral posts had hooks created via Gemini (even this one).

Step 3: Post goes viral... then what?

- THIS is where most people screw up completely.
- They get 50,000 impressions, 300 comments, and do... nothing.

While the post is getting traction, you need to fire up the outreach engine and message everyone who engaged.

- They JUST consumed your content. 
- They JUST raised their hand showing interest. 
- They're warm as hell right now.

So instead of letting them disappear into the LinkedIn void...
You reach out to them while they're still thinking about the problem you solve.

I watched 🦾Eric's list building video the other day

here's the breakdown (if you didn't watch it)

Before you start building a list, ask yourself one question:

"If I had 10 minutes to research this company, what would I actually check?"

Then just automate that exact process.

Eric breaks it down into 3 approaches that actually work:

[1] Forward - Hit databases with tight filters
[2] Backward - Start with your best customers, find patterns
[3] Circular - Perfect seed list → find lookalikes → validate → repeat

And the circular approach is where it gets interesting...

You can automate lookalike expansion, but you need stopping rules.

If your lookalike batches are giving you less than 15% valid additions after multiple tries?

Kill the workflow.

Don't waste time on dead ends.

The stuff you should actually be checking:

- Company descriptions
- Real headcount numbers
- Location specifics
- Customer data overlap

Basically... mirror what you'd check manually.
