Now it’s time to slow down a bit 
Rejuvenate, recharge, and get ready for a hard run next year.

Is there any one who has benefited from LinkedIn? 

"I don't think LinkedIn is of any value." 
"LinkedIn is Useless, delete it."

I see many questions and statements like this on X all the time 
Questioning the value of LinkedIn.

Can't really say it's annoying
But I just think the people making posts like this either: 

Never really used LinkedIn, or
Tried for a bit, stayed inconsistent, and bounced.

Every platform has upside
And LinkedIn is no different.

Personally, LinkedIn changed a lot for me.

When I joined, 
I knew no one
I was also new to sales
I mostly threw comments here and there.

Then I posted that I’d just completed the SSDR SV Academy course.

That single post led to:
Multiple DMs from people offering help, great conversations
And eventually a job.

Since then I’ve met friends locally and globally
People who’ve genuinely impacted my life in positive ways.

So 𝐘𝐄𝐒 I’ve benefited a ton from LinkedIn.
And I’m just getting started.

Cold outreach looks complicated
But it's actually simple.

Most people struggle to write good emails because they 
Can’t answer a few basic questions:

- What exactly do we offer
- Who do we do it for
- How does it work
- What’s the ROI
- Who else have we helped 
- What problems does it solve
- What proof do we have that it works
- What outcome can they expect if they say yes?

If you can’t break these down in plain English, 
Writing cold emails will always feel like guesswork.

But once you get clear on these, 
Your messaging becomes sharper, shorter, and way more natural.

Outbound isn't about sounding smart.
It’s about understanding your offer so well that explaining it becomes effortless.

If you're struggling to write good emails, 
Don’t start with templates,
Start with clarity.

I used to run an 8 email sequence as an SDR,
But I booked zero meetings with it.

I thought cold email was just spray and pray,
Sending too many emails to one prospect until I got a response.

𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠.

The I cut it to 6 emails, still nothing.

When I got into GTME, 

I noticed something:
Most people run 3–4 email sequences. (max)
It was working, some even get replies on their first or second email.

And if there’s no response by step 3/4?
They revisit the account in a few months, not email run it to 12 emails.

That’s when it clicked:

- It’s not about the length of sequence.
✅ It’s about timing, relevance, clarity, and value.
✅  If they don’t reply early, maybe they’re just not in-market yet.

Short, tight sequences win
Long ones probably just annoy people.

The problem was never the channel

When I stopped doing everything manually

One connection request isn’t a strategy.
Views → connects → message → follow-ups → replies

Relevance means context, not rewriting messages one by one.
It’s referencing role, timing, or intent that wins

Boring things make you the most money.

Sometimes they even compensate for fulfillment.

“I love updating Salesforce"
Says no sales rep.

And for most people in GTM, this stuff feels boring:

Cleaning data
Scraping leads
Building scalable workflow 
Building a repeatable GTM system that prints meetings

But here’s the part we don’t talk about:

These things feel boring because they’re repetitive
They don’t give you instant gratification,
And nobody pats you on the back for doing them
But when the meetings starts rolling everyone is excited.

It is the work that makes everything else possible.

✅ Clean data → better targeting
✅ Scraped leads → bigger TAM
✅ Scalable workflows → predictable pipeline
✅ Solid GTM systems → meetings every single day.

People who win lean into the boring,
Even when nobody’s watching.

It isn’t glamorous
It’s just what works.

I’ve collected zero base pay for months now,
It hasn't been fun.

But here is how I'm surviving.

I have a serial saving habit
Was saving 40+% of my base pay as an SDR for almost two years.

Although I didn't put any of it investments, just savings
I had enough saved to keep me afloat.

That's why I wasn't focused on landing a GTME role at first, 
Rather I was building capacity.

I even remember telling agency owners I'll work for free
Because I wanted to build capacity and skill first.

Looking back now, that savings habit is what protected me.

Things could have gone south for me if I didn't have it.

So if you're an SDR or in sales
Start saving.  Start investing.  Start planning.

Because when hard times hit 
You don’t want to be forced into a role that is not for you
Or situations that may affect / ruin your career.

No excuses even on bad days or no pickup days

Volume is consistent
Calls 5 days a week
100 dials daily
Same hours.

On paper, rep 1 might spike higher sometimes.

But over time?
Rep 2 wins.

Because consistency compounds:

Objection handling sharpens
Confidence on calls improves
Pipeline becomes predictable
Timing with prospects lines up.

Sales isn’t about occasional intensity
It’s about boring repeatable execution.

The rep who shows up daily
Always beats the rep who shows up randomly.
