Somehow, I didn't care about what people think.

When I was 6. I told my dad I'm not going to kindergarten because it's boring for me. I don't want to sleep during the afternoon. I wanted to play.

When I was 16, I told my mom I was going to take an exam early because I felt that the school just takes so much away from my life.

Why do I need to go to school for months to prepare and learn a subject when I can get it done in half the time?

When I was 24, I started a blog.

reached thousands of people.
got invited to speak on stage. 
closed collaborations.

and eventually turned my true passion and purpose into my first revenue stream and my first business.

yep, I was scared in the beginning. but I quickly realized that this all pays off.

and:

you need consistency and reach a minimum scale to hit a specific "bare" minimum to start getting stand out.

in ads: you aren't going to go anywhere with a $1k spent budget • in organic content: you're going to go anywhere with posting 2x per week (good start tho) • in outbound: you're not going to achieve anything if you're not combining inbound and outbound audiences and complementing with channels (content, cold calls, nurturing)

especially because you have to generate a LOT of things, find what works, and scale:

hit the phone a lot of times to know what's working and iterate on the script

email people and iterate until it's working

post a lot on LinkedIn to see what resonates

never EVER would I think that I would make this potential available to everyone someday.

My hands used to shake before cold calls. Now I actually look forward to them 🙌 

Not because I suddenly became good at sales but because I stopped guessing

Confidence doesn't come from being naturally smooth or extroverted.

So I mapped out the 4 parts every cold call needs:

01. Focus → Who are we calling?

- Key roles
- ROI narrative

02. Positioning → Who would they care?

- Talk track
- Competitive angle
- Insight line

03. Pitch → What do we say to earn a conversation?

- 10 second opener
- Soft assumption
- Discovery question

04. Outreach → How do we reach them?

- Relevance hook

This isn't about being perfect.

Now I can walk into every call knowing the next possibility.

if my first startup didn’t fail… ⚡️

I’d never gone through lots of shit 😬 BUT:

looking back, it had to happen. It changed my whole path (in ways I could never imagine).

🎢 BECAUSE my first business failed, I:

– saw a massive gap in how to actually run GTM funnels (ads, outbound, content, cold calls)

– was SO done with the fast that how “Revenue Operations” was always about collecting, not using, data for growth

– built resilience, wall after wall

The #1 reason top reps close more deals?

They know when to stop.

Here’s what I’ve noticed:

Average reps stay in hustle mode 24/7.

Top reps go hard when it matters —

and then they actually unplug.

Because in sales, your energy is your edge.

You can’t run sharp discovery calls when you’re running on fumes.

Top reps protect their energy the same way they protect their quota.

They show up fully - then they close the laptop, touch some grass, and recharge so they can do it again tomorrow.

Hustle matters.

But knowing when to stop?

That’s a real competitive advantage.

That instant close they're celebrating?

It took them 2 months of mess to get there

You see the LinkedIn post: "Just closed our biggest deal! 🎉"

One great call and boom… done.

But this is what you don't see:

→ 14 cold emails that got ignored

→ 4 data enrichment loops to find the right contact

→ 3 messaging angles that completely flopped

→ 1 operator juggling 7 different tools

→ 2 months of consistent follow-ups before they finally replied

It's messy, manual, and honestly? not glamorous at all

And all the complexity only works when you master the basics

The tools help you scale, but the foundation gets you close.

The best outbound isn't the most automated, it is most human.

If your sales content isn't working on LinkedIn, it's probably not your fault.

Most of us create content the way we are taught:

- Share insights
- post case studies
- Talk about the product

Sounds right, doesn’t it?

Except... prospects aren't engaging. and the pipeline isn't moving.

The thing is that… instead of posting more, we need to post in a smarter way

Different content types drive different outcomes: →

- Some build awareness but won't book meetings) 
- Some spark conversations (hello, pipeline 👋
- Some establish credibility

So, what do we do now?

Stop creating content that looks good and start creating content that starts conversations

Your prospects are on LinkedIn, they're scrolling, learning, and looking for solutions

The question is… are you showing up in a way that makes them want to talk to you?

I want to understand it, here’s how.

What is detected as spam is constantly evolving.

After all the research and constant analysis (with some of our clients sending 738,000 emails/mo (LOVE IT)), I realized it always comes down to one thing:

having a clear strategy (whether you’re using email for marketing or sales use cases) + email infrastructure health.

Without regularly running tests against spam (on copy, domain, the inbox itself, and comparing against the reply rates), we’re just sending emails that might or might not connect with our goals.... or in the inbox 🙃

Therefore, we always start with... Which audience you’re going to reach out to first? Have you done this before? 👀

It’s simple but so powerful.

here’s what to include:

→ Match the inbox type. Analyze if your prospects use Google, Microsoft, or something custom. Send from what matches.

→ Audience: cold vs. warm? Different rules, different plays.

→ Sequencing Maybe you need 4 touchpoints. Maybe 17. Match to the buyer, not a random best practice.

→ Nail your offer + USP. Give something they want to grab. 

• Agency? Share your best ad swipe file. 
• SaaS? Drop a pre-built automation flow. 
• AI? Offer a free workshop or a ready-to-go agent.

What doesn't build trust? 

- Asking them to visit a landing page with no real/unclear value. 
- Workflow builders for execs (they’ll never use it, the manager will do)

aaand the cooooolest thing is, we use an AI agent for coming up with these at Growth Today (Seriously, I don’t even have to think of the different offers)✨

I used to think tracking 12 sales metrics was way too much. 🙈

There is 1 part of outbound that I seriously underestimated…

Managing multiple LinkedIn profiles at the same time 😅

a few months ago, I was helping a client scale their outreach.

Email was smooth. Clay workflows were humming.

but LinkedIn… oh boy.

It turned into:

→ 5 profiles open in different tabs
→ DMs hiding in random places
→ me double-checking everything because I didn’t trust myself anymore 😭

At one point, I even replied to a prospect from the wrong profile.

(and immediately closed my laptop out of pure embarrassment lol)

Then we met Aleksandar Besarovic in SF who told us about what he’s building with Aimfox.

Honestly… I didn’t expect much, but it surprised me in the best way:

Your team doesn't resist experimentation

They resist your approach to it.

Here's what I used to do,

Drop a "let's test this!" with zero context, expect everyone to just... get excited? 

Then they used to drag their feet

The problem wasn't my team… It was me thinking experimentation is just mechanical.

Experimentation needs structure and clarity. Otherwise, It just feels like more work piled on top of everything else

So here's how we do it now

Step 1: Create Safety Before Speed

If people fear failure, they'll never test. Make it clear.

Step 2: Start with Micro-Experiments

Don't drop a new GTM framework overnight. Pick one workflow, one segment, one channel.

Step 3: Show the Data, Not the Drama

Teams trust numbers more than slogans. Visualize impact and let results do the talking

Step 4: Close the Loop, Together

Review tests as a team. What did we learn? What do we keep? What do we kill?

This way experiments do not feel like solo projects

So if your team groans when you pitch a test... ask yourself… 

Am I making this easy enough to say yes to?

I turned one discovery call into 7 LinkedIn posts last week.

Same call but different angles 🙌

Every call is full of content ideas

- Any pain point your prospects share
- Objections they raise
- Wins they mention

The stories your audience wants to hear

But most of us finish the call, update the CRM, and move on.

Then sit down to write content and... nothing.

So I changed my process.

After each call, I ask ChatGPT one simple thing:

"Pull out the angles, don't write the post, just show me what's worth talking about."

And honestly, it has been the best thing ever

Same conversations I was already having, just paying attention differently.

100 dials a day and still no meetings?

Here's the thing nobody tells you:

Most of us were told cold calling is a numbers game

dial more → book more

But that only works if people actually pick up and don't hang up in 10 seconds.

So here’s a better way

→ do proper research before dialing (LinkedIn, recent news, mutual connections)

→ lead with a relevant observation, not your pitch

→ ask a question they'd want to answer

→ make it about their world, not your product

for example:

❌ "Hi, I'm calling about our sales automation tool..." 

✅ "Saw you just expanded to EMEA, curious how you're handling outbound there?"

The goal is to start a real conversation

cold call feels less interruptive this way

p.s. yes, this takes more time per call, but would you rather make 100 calls that go nowhere or 20 that actually lead somewhere?
