i’ve never run out of content ideas.

not because i’m more creative.
but because i don’t rely on inspiration.

i use a simple system.
one i come back to every time ideas feel scattered.

this is how i generate 50–60 post ideas in minutes
without forcing it.

step 1: find your message

ask yourself:
- where do i have a slightly different take
- what do people already come to me for help with

that’s your authority.
you don’t invent it. you clarify it.

step 2: choose your content pillars

keep it simple.

3 pillars around your interests or expertise
1 pillar around your story

your story isn’t extra.
it’s what makes people trust you.

step 3: list topics under each pillar

brain dump everything.
volume first. clarity later.

step 4: write down struggles and desires

things like:

– no time
– no clarity
– no consistency
– wants authority
– wants inbound leads

most people skip this.
that’s why their content feels random.

step 5: build the posts

combine everything in this order:

struggle → topic → desire

examples:
- no time → short framework → faster content
- making $0 → one product → first real revenue

you’re not “thinking of ideas”.
you’re assembling them.

this is how i’ve shown up consistently for years
without burnout or pressure.

authority doesn’t come from posting more.
it comes from having a structure you can repeat.

2. “how to” stopped building authority on its own

if your post sounds like a guide, it blends in.
if it sounds like lived experience, it stands out.

the shift is simple:

how to → how i
advice → decisions
frameworks → context

you don’t need to explain more.
you need to show how you think.

3. consistency alone won’t save you

you can “add value.”
you can post regularly.
you can follow best practices.

and still see reach drop.

because linkedin now resurfaces old posts, rotates visibility, and shows content to new audiences constantly.

posting alone isn’t enough anymore.

4. distribution is part of the strategy now

authority grows faster when you stop waiting.

what works better:

- targeted connections
- intentional comments
- showing up where your ICP already spends time

comments are content.
they just come with built-in distribution.

5. what actually compounds in 2026

- clear positioning
- repeatable formats
- a point of view that’s hard to copy

So here’s what’s worked for me and my clients 👇

1. Stop writing for approval.
Half of LinkedIn sounds like a college essay.
When you write like a person, people actually read.

2. Talk about your work more.
You think you’re repeating yourself.
They’re hearing it for the first time.

3. Post when it feels cringe.
That’s usually the one that lands best.
Because it feels honest.

4. Don’t copy what worked for someone else.
It worked for them because it sounded like them.
Make it sound like you.

5. Show, don’t claim.
Saying you’re an expert is boring.
Stories do the job better.
