Zugang zu Kapital ist nicht gleich verteilt.

Rund 90 % des VC-Fundings gingen im vergangenen Jahr an rein männliche Gründerteams. Female oder gemischt gegründete Teams sind weiterhin deutlich unterrepräsentiert.

Dabei ist Kapital einer der wichtigsten Hebel für Wachstum und Skalierung.
Am International Women’s Day werden oft Blumen verschenkt. Was Gründerinnen jedoch wirklich brauchen, sind konkrete Zugänge zu Kapital und Sichtbarkeit.

Deshalb bin ich mit meiner Initiative "Female Founders Alliance" Teil der deutschlandweiten Kampagne „Less Flowers. More Funding.“ von JUNE MINDS, die gemeinsam mit führenden Startup-Programmen, Business-Angel-Netzwerken und VCs das Thema sichtbar macht und konkrete Investor:innen-Zugänge für Female (Co-)Founded Startups schafft.

Im Rahmen des dazugehörigen Open Call for Pitches erhalten die Top 10 Startups gezieltes Funding-Feedback sowie direkte Intros zu passenden Business Angels und VCs - ohne Umwege oder Warm-Intro-Barrieren. 

Drei dieser zehn Startups dürfen zusätzlich live auf der Female Founders Night von Businettes am 09. Juni pitchen. 

🌷 Und weil ich ein großer Fan davon bin Kräfte zu bündeln, werden Bewerbungen aus Hessen für das Halbfinale Frankfurt des bundesweiten Pitch Contests "Female Founders Contest" gescreent (Einladungen folgen separat). Wir freuen uns sehr auf eure Teilnahme!

👉 Frankfurt Digital Finance 2027 will take place on February 10 & 11, 2027.

It was a pleasure to see the ecosystem come together again. The quality of speakers this year was truly impressive.

I was especially glad to catch the early morning fireside chat with Kat Borlongan, a true European Tech Advocate, excellently moderated by 🏄🏻‍♂️ Ram Shoham, which set the tone for Day 2.

One key message really stayed with me:
👉 We need to help founders move into action much faster.
The idea of the 28th regime as a European initiative for EU-wide startup incorporation is an important step toward strengthening competitiveness and simplifying business operations across Europe.

As Kat pointed out, “The tech game is a talent game.”
So the goal is to attract the smartest, the most hard working people. In today’s current climate European companies should put out very aggressive marketing to attract talent that is now willing to move from US.

I also realized how long this journey has been. The last time I met Kat was about 10 years ago at an event with Tina A. Breidenbach and Karim Mustaghni — and she already left a strong impression on back then.

A big thank you to Max Hunzinger and Corinna Egerer for you perseverance in building this flagship event for Frankfurt. You are making a real difference for the ecosystem.

💕 Ich liebe diese Momente im Ökosystem:

Jemand hat eine Idee – und ein paar Tage später sitzen plötzlich zehn Gründerinnen zusammen im Co-Working.

Alles begann mit einem Aufruf in der Gruppe Female Founder Alliance:
Carina Schulte schrieb, dass sie gerne öfter aus dem Homeoffice herauskommen und eine Female Founder Co-Working Gruppe in Frankfurt starten möchte.

Genau mein Ding. Also habe ich ein paar Kontakte angeschrieben – und Jan Seidemann von Futury hat sofort zugesagt.

🌷 Mein Wunsch: Der Kick-off am International Women's Day.

Perfektes Timing, um einfach mal zu starten und zu schauen, was daraus entsteht.

Am Ende waren wir 10 Gründerinnen der Female Founder Alliance beim Open Co-Working Day von Futury – mit viel Austausch, neuen Ideen und ehrlichem Feedback.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Jan Seidemann und Buket Hos für die tolle Organisation und den herzlichen Empfang in eurem wunderbaren Space 🎀 🍩 ☕  🙌

Ich bin gespannt, was sich aus dieser Runde entwickelt – und freue mich schon auf den nächsten Co-Working Day mit euch.
