One big fear I hear again and again:

4 years ago… I didn’t think any of this was possible.

Today is my birthday, and I feel reborn.

I was born in a humble middle-class family in a remote part of India — Namrup, Assam.

Vernacular medium, limited exposure, small dreams.

At 42, I was living a mediocre life.....

No passion. No mission. No Vision. 

I was attached to my old identity - " I am an engineer, and I can't do anything other than engineering things". 

I was doing just survival things - paying EMIs, bills, partying, responsibilities.

I was an introvert, invisible to the outside world except to my known people.

At 43, everything changed......

For the first time, I invested in myself.

I found my first mentor. And I found my “why.”

At 44, I published my first book and became the first author of the family.

The book was owned nationally and globally.

It became a bestseller.

I started getting keynote speaking invitations at national and international workshops.

I became the first TEDx speaker of the family.

At 45, I started a movement- "Become-Visible"  to help professionals become visible, unleash their true potential, build their personal brand and live their dream.......

Professionals began reaching out to help  build their personal brands.

From being invisible, not knowing what to do in life, to becoming a mentor.

I started doing podcasts and interacting with leaders.

Gave training to industry leaders who once felt like my idols.

These were external shifts. 

But the real shift was internal.

I kept rebuilding my identity and 

I worked on my energy every day, every month, every year - Emotional, Mental, Physical, Spiritual, Social.

Every year, I upgraded my room, my routine, my network, and my standards to the next level.

I found an amazing network to learn and grow.

Then I realised one thing :

You cannot achieve new goals with an old identity.

At 46, I became an investor and generational wealth creation advisor......

I saw people making wrong real estate decisions — because I was once there.

I chose to guide them.

Then I helped, gave real insights and hand-holded many to start building their wealth creation journey.

Many can see amazing results with their investment returns within a short time.

Today, I walk with gratitude and intention- helping others grow — while I keep growing.

This birthday is not about age.

It’s about the courage to begin again at 43.

It is never too late to rewrite your story.

Sometimes, it takes just one decision.

What do you say ?

“If you grow up with constant comparison, you start seeing life as a competition.”

Not because you want to compete.

But because that is the only lens you were given.

Many of us were raised hearing sentences like:

- “Look at him… he scored more than you"
- “See how successful he is”
- “Why can’t you be like them?”

Slowly, comparison becomes normal.

When comparison becomes the background music of childhood, something subtle happens.

You stop measuring progress. You start measuring position.

Instead of asking: “Am I growing?”

You start asking: “Am I ahead or behind?”

And this mindset quietly follows people into adulthood:

1. Career choices
2. Salaries
3. Houses
4. Social media
5. Even happiness

Constant comparison slowly erodes self-trust.

Because your worth is no longer defined by who you are —but by how you rank.

Real growth begins the day you stop competing with everyone and start evolving from who you were yesterday.

At 46, I’ve observed something very clearly.

Succes  not just what you learn in life.

It’s WHO you learn from.

And there is a visible difference between learning from people at the top… and people stuck at the bottom.

What people stuck at the bottom often teach you:

They teach you scarcity.

They fear:

1. “What if he uses this idea?”
2. “What if she grows faster?”
3. “What if I lose my importance?”

Their main focus is survival and defence. Not scale.

Thinking is also short-term, and conversations are transactional.


But what people at the top teach you:

1. They share openly,
2. They teach you abundance,
3. They discuss strategy without fear,
4. They explain how they think, not just what they do,

They know one truth:

Even if someone copies their strategy without their mindset, discipline, and network, it won’t work anyway.

They don’t compete on information. They compete on execution.

They are calm about sharing because money is no longer survival.

 Instead, contribution and impact become purpose.

And here is the biggest difference:

Top-level people believe: “There is more than enough. There is abundance”

Bottom-level thinking believes: “If you win, I lose.”

Life changes when you change the rooms you sit in.

Because energy transfers, mindsets transfer, and standards transfer.

Choose wisely.

Not everyone who gives advice deserves to shape your future.
