My work is grounded in practical experience, having served as a leader and member of multiple high-performing teams (and some low-performing teams as well) with organizations such as Accenture and PepsiCo. By delving into and applying research on leadership, learning and change as an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, I co-created and delivered a course on executing strategic change in the Masters level program.

Our customers are using us today for virtual 3D product images, lifestyles and customization of virtual products by end consumers for made-to-order products on websites. Our 3D experiences reduce return rates and increase conversion.

Global Giving channels a significant share of US charity to global non-profits trying to help those at the bottom of the pyramid. All non-profits registered with them go through a thorough due diligence process. In my brief time with them I ran a few experiments to improve their new user retention and to create new ways for projects to promote their goals/credibility to seek funding.

Worked on Project V.I.E.W with Agha Ali Akram, and Dr. Jehangir Ikram. V.I.E.W stands for volunteer internet environment watch. We made devices that scanned ambient air for pollution and sent the reading to a central server. Thus 50 devices across an urban area could map out pollution levels over time. Project was amongst the finalist in the Stockholm Challenge that year.

But it’s been fun and has helped build a culture of compassionate directness. And a place where we keep working daily towards evolving to our best version. 

In my free time, you'll find me on a treadmill, listening to Audible books and Huberman podcasts, or seated cross legged on the carpet reading old Sufi books and Rumi's poetry. As a young boy Pir Mehr-Ali-Shah, a great sufi saint, loved to watch the train engine. When asked why, he said that the engine never differentiated between any of the carts and pulled all of them alike, it worked hard (especially when it started from rest), and it made sure that the entire train reached the destination.
