•Developed and managed a comprehensive set of career resources timed to support the rollout of the new Stanford job description library including an online self-service resource with Lee Hecht Harrison, career pathing with PageUp People and the redesign of the Career Counseling Network (CCN)
•Directed the year-long nomination based cohorts of Stanford Leadership Academy and Leadership@Stanford; conducted executive coaching within the programs as well as managerial coaching within Stanford Manager Academy

Talent Development Manager, Talent Management & Workforce Strategy, University Human Resources

•Grew both Owning Your Career@Stanford and StanfordTemps to be thriving lines of business while also expanding into manager development and organization development programs and projects
•Oversaw and delivered all aspects of the career services and resources provided University-wide including the facilitation of over 50 core half and full-day workshops, the design and delivery of 100+ unique lunch-time seminars, 350+ 1:1 coaching meetings; all in service to approximately 1000 staff members
•Expanded and enhanced the original design and delivery of Owning Your Career@Stanford to include monthly career workshop networking and accountability groups, increased coaching opportunities, and targeted departmental presentations; project manager of a multi-year/multi-unit student services project to pilot education, experience, and exposure (3E) career opportunities for student focused staff across four schools and units

•After a successful pilot of the Owning Your Career@Stanford program, selected as the only team member to remain after layoffs to continue the StanfordTemps services as well as manage the Owning Your Career@Stanford program
•Delivered all aspects of the Owning Your Career@Stanford program, including monthly facilitation of the core half-day workshop, design and delivery of bi-weekly lunch-time seminars, and 1:1 career coaching sessions
•	Partnered with client hiring managers to source qualified candidates for their open requisitions and conducted reference and pre-employment background checks; administered the hiring, onboarding, and termination processes
•Provided employee relations guidance to managers and took appropriate disciplinary action with employees, interpreting and applying administrative guide policies

Staffing and Career Education Consultant, Staff Employment, University Human Resources

•Hired into a one-year fixed term role to join a team of recruiters for StanfordTemps, an internal facing temporary agency built on a cost recovery framework
•During a period of significant economic downturn and amongst layoffs across the organization that significantly reduced StanfordTemps revenue generation, proposed, designed and piloted Owning Your Career@Stanford, a comprehensive career management program for Stanford staff, an effort that functioned as a needed service for staff employees and an alternative internal revenue stream

Zenger Miller (became AchieveGlobal and now AchieveForum is a part of Korn Ferry)

•	Managed the HR function including training and development, recruiting, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, and employee relations for this premier developer of management training and consulting to Fortune 500 and other organizations
•	Started as the Executive Assistant to the President, promoted within the first year to HR Representative and ultimately to HR Manager overseeing HR operations

Human Resources Manager

Jeanette owns Northdawn Coaching & Consulting, LLC, where she supports both organizations and individuals in all areas of development and career management, including providing 1:1 coaching services.

Before opening her business, Jeanette served 15 years with Stanford University, most recently as Director, Talent Management and Organization Development, within University Human Resources. During her time at Stanford, she spent several years in the Office of Staff Employment, managing the StanfordTemps internal contingent staffing service as well as creating and facilitating the career development services offered through the Owning Your Career@Stanford program. Transitioning within University Human Resources to the role of Talent Development Manager as part of the Talent Management & Workforce Strategy team, she had the opportunity to lead various career development initiatives and organization development projects. She coached a wide range of Stanford staff as they navigated their careers at the University as well as managers and leaders within the Stanford Manager Academy and Leadership@Stanford development programs. She also played a key role in leading the multi-year change management processes supporting the new Stanford Redwood City campus which opened in early 2019. She oversaw the Stanford Leadership Academy, Stanford Fellows, Leadership@Stanford, Stanford Manager Academy, and Stanford Manager Forums.
 
Jeanette earned a BS degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She worked for 9+ years in Human Resources at Zenger Miller, a premier leadership training and development company. During her time at Zenger Miller, she had the opportunity to work in all aspects of Human Resources; contributing as a generalist but also specializing at various times in Recruiting, Training & Development, and Compensation & Benefits. During this time, she gained experience developing and delivering training, from Zenger Miller programs to Behavioral Interviewing to New Hire Orientation.

Jeanette completed her Masters In Organization Development and Change with Penn State University in December 2018. In May of 2024, she earned the requirements to achieve credentialing with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), giving her the designation of Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
