Hi, I'm Sander, a SaaS entrepreneur and pilot with over 5 years of experience in co-owning and growing a software company, Afosto, that helps retailers succeed using smart and scalable software solutions. I'm also the co-founder of Sanwin Beachwear, an exclusive beachwear brand for men, and a first officer at KLM, flying Boeing 737 aircrafts across Europe and beyond.

I'm passionate about creating value for my clients, partners, and customers, and seeing them achieve their business goals and reach new heights.

It quietly crossed $100M ARR and just raised $68M at a $2.1B valuation.

That startup is Gamma

Back in the early days, most presentation tools focused on design polish.
Gamma focused on something else entirely:
helping people think, structure, and communicate faster.

Instead of building “another slide tool,” Gamma built an AI-native way to turn ideas into presentations, websites, and visual docs - without friction.

That clarity shows in how the company scaled.

In November 2025, Gamma raised a $68M Series B, led by @Andreessen Horowitz, taking total funding to around $90M and valuing the company at $2.1 billion.
But funding is only part of the story.

What makes Gamma interesting is how they grew:

-A lean team.
-Product-led adoption.
-Strong revenue discipline.

No bloated org.
No loud launches.
Just a product people kept using.

Today, Gamma is doing ~$100M ARR and is already profitable - rare at this scale in AI.

While many AI tools chased growth with heavy burn, Gamma stayed focused on:

-usability over excess features
-clarity over complexity
-execution over noise

That is why this round matters.
It is not a bet on “AI is hot.”
It is a bet on AI that actually works and scales.

The takeaway for founders?
