My Analyst 3 journey at Comcast began by entering the role to help forecast and budget the capital spend for our construction accounts. I continued to develop by taking on forecasting and budgeting of our extensive new construction projects and by providing ad-hoc reporting and financial return analysis to our internal partners. The forecasting and budgeting of our rural broadband projects opened a unique opportunity to act as a financial project manager. In that role, I ensured that the projects had the correct funding to be completed on time.

Slim Chickens

The title of Financial Analyst does not describe in enough detail the variety of projects I worked on at Slim Chickens because my job involves all areas of the organization. I collaborated with the Marketing team on competitive research and provided analysis of sales and promotions. Outside of supporting the Marketing team, I helped develop our menu pricing strategy for our corporate restaurants. I provided product mix analysis and taste testing for the Product Development team. In addition to taste testing, I project managed the implementation of a milkshake test in three locations. One of my more exciting roles was analyzing demographic data and trade area analysis for the Real Estate Development team. On top of this, I still get to do some FP&A work by helping develop quarterly and yearly sales forecasts and restaurant budgets. I enjoyed working at Slim Chickens because my knowledge continued to grow beyond what my title would indicate.

The Arkansas Fellowship is a two-year post-graduate career development organization that builds a professional network around entrepreneurship and business development in Arkansas. My love for learning and interest in entrepreneurship drove me to join the Arkansas Fellowship. Within the program, I was the leader of the events committee and was responsible for organizing our fellowship events and career development opportunities.   •We maintained supplier relationships as we began the process of transitioning to a new supplier.

As a collaborative and driven enterprise sales and finance professional, I have learned that winning takes a team. I am grateful to have been a part of some fun ones that generated over $5.0m pipeline and overachieved quota by 128% at Deck Commerce, expanded high-speed internet to Earl and Parkin at Comcast, and launched new menu items and food trucks at Slim Chickens. 

Being a part of winning teams opens unique opportunities, like volunteering to be a sauce sportscaster for an Instagram campaign or driving to El Dorado to scout a new location at Slim Chickens. 

Outside of work, you will find me running around Denver or in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, skiing or hiking. After completing the St. Jude marathon in December 2021 and 10 half-marathons since then, I have moved from running for exercise to owning a five-paneled hat and Strava Premium. If I am not outdoors, my indoor activities include starting more books than finishing, cooking a new recipe, or exploring Denver's food, arts, live music, and sports scenes.
