I use years of hands-on career coaching as well as experience in the healing arts such as reading the tarot. When I was a young communications careerist I would take Metro-North from Connecticut to Manhattan for contract assignments. Waiting on the platform for that commuter train, riding into Grand Central and when we headed from the station toward work, I wore my journalist hat. 

I made it my business to observe two things. 

One was who seemed professional successes. What about them transmitted that message? 

And the second was if they seemed to have a lightness of spirit, that is, inner peace.

I was struggling to figure out how a human being in the highly competitive eastern New York Metro area could have both.

I started to write and publish about careers per se. Over the years, those articles appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Newsday, Chicago Tribune, AOL, Motley Fool, Yahoo Finance, Huffington Post, IP Watchdog, MyBankTracker, Payment Week, Pittsburgh Magazine and the Harvard Law School Alumni Letter. In addition, still in print, is the book I co-authored “The Critical First Years of Your Professional Life.” I lecture in universities and at trade association meetings.

Simultaneously I searched for insights about being spiritually fit while achieving worldly success. Since childhood, I have been a student of religious and philosophical groups.

In that journey I tapped into the wisdom of my Eastern European relatives who are faith-healers. I participated in spiritual workshops throughout New England and southeastern Arizona.  I learned to read the tarot. 

Along with intuitive career coaching, three years ago I added on doing psychic readings, including incorporating the tarot.  

From you the client, I learn more than I have from other sources. You have been generous in articulating your suffering, joy, Ah-Ha moments and detailed intel about your field. Partnering with you I have developed special areas of expertise in the future of work, self-defeating behavior, career change, emotional intelligence, lifestyle transitions, aging and unretiring.
