Breaking B2B went from $50k/mo to $185k/mo last yr. George Coudounaris runs our LinkedIn Ads and most enquiries mention LinkedIn on calls. Here’s exactly what he did (and our plan to hit $400k/mo this year):

BACKGROUND.

With organic reach tanking like crazy I knew LinkedIn ads would be key to keep top of mind for our SEO/AEO services for B2B SaaS marketing leaders and to amplify my organic content. 

Plus, fixing our funnel of SEO/AEO and YouTube traffic who hit our site but didn't convert.

Getting the deadly trio: SEO, YouTube and LinkedIn cookin'


THE STRATEGY.

(1) George made me get brutally clear on ICP 

With a very limited budget to start (1.2k/mo), we weren’t going to rely on LinekdIn’s native filters. We wanted a TIGHT company list that matched his ICP of B2B SaaS companies he serves best. 

So he asked me:
Who are your best clients? 
Who gets the most value?
Which companies do you want more of? 

Turned that into firmographic filters, pulled a list, looked through it manually - so we knew we were getting in front of the right companies from Day 1. 


(2) Thought Leadership Ads became the growth engine

Thought Leadership Ads are winning right now for many b2b orgs with execs already organically posting with a following. Its high engagement rates mean you get better bang for your buck, and is a great place to start.

(my engagement rates are 8-15%) 

But we don’t just boost any content. 

Before we started,
We mapped best performing posts to the 5 Stages of Awareness

• Stages 1-3 → cold audiences
• Stages 3-5 → warm audiences

Then filled any content gaps.

Next step: every post needed a CTA.

Early-stage posts link to helpful resources.
Later-stage posts push toward booking a call.

Result?

Thought Leadership Ads consistently hit engagement rates as high as 15%, which meant Sam was everywhere his buyers looked.

Since then, we’ve layered in:

• Company page ads so Breaking B2B grows beyond my face
• Amplifying clients/partners getting results posting about Breaking B2B

So the brand scales, not just me.


(3) Constant Optimisation of Thought Leadership Ads

Judge the top performing Thought Leadership Ads by looking at:
Engagement rate
Cost per landing page click (a custom metric not available in platform)
New subscribers
High intent pages
Calls booked

And have a tight feedback loop on what’s landing to closed-won. 


(4) Acknowledge the reality of the buying journey 

Most prospects aren’t in-market today. Many have an SEO vendor they’re probably not seeing value from. 

Others are getting their business to the point where they can finally invest in SEO/AEO. 

The ads keep us top of mind. So when they’re ready, they come straight to Breaking B2B.

- Majority of inbound
- Primary measurable driver
- First lever to scale or cut


2. Outbound Sales: 24%

Extremely common among:
- Early-stage SaaS
- Bootstrapped companies
- Technical founders

Examples:
“Outbound, sort of outbound work.”

“Where does this passion for events and community come from?” I get asked this a lot. Especially this one:

“Saurabh, how did you build LiveHaus so quickly as an immigrant who’s only been in Sydney for 6 years?”

Since this keeps coming up in DMs, let’s answer it publicly.

Here’s the honest answer.
LiveHaus didn’t start this year.

It’s the outcome of years of building rooms in different formats.

Before LiveHaus, there was:
✅ 150+ interviews through the Ultimate Global Podcast
✅ A walking community with 2,500+ members
✅ 100+ coffee chats with founders and VCs
✅ Impact Circle – founder roundtables, townhalls and Builder Days

Different formats. Same intention. Bringing ambitious people into the same space.

Because when you move countries, you realise something fast:
🙌 No one hands you proximity.
🙌 You build it.
🙌 You host the coffee.
🙌 You start the walk.
🙌 You launch the podcast.
🙌 You organise the roundtable.

And if you keep showing up consistently, momentum compounds.
LiveHaus isn’t a sudden thing happening. Consider it to be happening in different shapes and forms over the years.

It’s a refined evolution.
From conversations.
To community.
To curated rooms.

And in an AI-driven world, I still believe this:
Human connection scales differently.

If you’re new to a city.
New to an industry.
Or building something from scratch.

I have personally got tremendous admiration whole bunch of others who move to a new country and start something like this: Sara Singh Tak⚡️, Arjun Agarwal 🚀, Jahin Tanvir, Miguel Anton, Shiv Bhardwaj. These are some of the top legends I love following on LinkedIn as well.

Hey Saurabh, what’s been your biggest learning since running your own thing? Simple.

Don’t get drunk on the highs.
Don’t drown in the lows.
Stay level headed and grounded at all the times.

There are days everything clicks.
Sponsors align. Speakers confirm. Tickets move.

And then there are days you just need a long run or a brutal gym session to reset your head.

No steady paycheck hitting the account.
No safety net.
Just belief, execution and momentum.

It’s no joke.

With something like LiveHaus, there are so many moving parts at once: venue, sponsors, marketing partners, speakers, logistics, ticket sales: all while trying to curate a genuinely high-quality room.

And yet, in the last 2 months alone, we’ve locked in 35+ incredible speakers and some remarkable partners across our Season 2 events.

What started as an idea has quickly turned into rooms filled with energy, credibility and momentum. It’s honestly insane when I pause and think about it.

🙌 But here’s the thing:
If you get too high on that, then the next setback will hit harder.

You quickly realise two things:

1️⃣ Every challenge is an invitation to improve.
2️⃣ Your time is too precious to chase people who don’t want to build with you.

Over the last 1 year, I’ve stepped away from so many projects, collaborations and people. At that moment, it felt like a setback. Almost like a disaster.

In hindsight?
It gave me clarity, direction and mental peace.

And nothing compounds like a calm mind at the end of the day. 

When you’re steady, you build better.
When you’re grounded, you decide better.
When you protect your energy, you grow faster.

That’s probably the biggest lesson so far.

If you’re building something of your own, how do you stay level through the chaos?

A founder from Melbourne messaged me this week. She joined the LiveHaus WhatsApp community yesterday. Today she says:

“I’m a big fan of what you’re building. I’m keen to book my ticket and fly up for StartupHaus.”

This is why we do this.
Not for vanity metrics.
Not for event photos.
Not for “look how many people showed up.”

But for ambitious humans willing to get on a plane
because they believe the room is worth it.

🔥 She’s building.
🔥 She’s scaling.
🔥 She’s looking for the right investment opportunity.

And she believes the lineup and the people in the room can help move that forward.

That’s signal.

StartupHaus is shaping up to be a room full of:
✅ Founders actively raising
✅ Operators thinking venture-scale
✅ Builders solving real problems
✅ Investors quietly observing

And when founders from another city are asking,
 “Are you coming to Melbourne?”

You know something’s working.

PeopleHaus Season 2 | March 2026

There’s something unique about people who deeply care about their fitness whether it’s running, yoga, lifting, or meditation.

It’s never just about looking fit.

It’s about discipline.
It’s about self-respect.
It’s about showing up when you don’t feel like it.

Looking strong is earned.
So is building something meaningful.

Over the last 1 year, running has become an integral part of my life. Not just for fitness but for clarity.

Some of my biggest LiveHaus & Impact Circle decisions were made mid-run.
Some of my hardest weeks were processed kilometre by kilometre.
Some of my boldest ideas came when my legs were tired but my mind was sharp.

Training for a marathon feels exactly like building from scratch.

You don’t see results immediately.
You question yourself halfway through.
You hit the wall.
You think about quitting.

But you keep moving.

Because momentum compounds.

I’ve also realised something about myself.

I’m deeply drawn to people who take care of themselves in any form. There’s a different energy to them. Long-term thinking. Delayed gratification. Resilience.

And I genuinely feel lucky living in Sydney, where fitness isn’t optional; it’s cultural.

Early ocean swims.
Park runs before work.
Running during lunch time and after work. 
Tuesday evening 10Ks.

That mindset spills into business. Into leadership. Into community.

The same people who train their bodies consistently tend to build their careers and communities the same way.

I hit 1600+ Kms in 2025 with 100K+ months of running for 10 months straight. Thats what I look for. Choose 1 activity where you can show me consistency for the next 6 months even when you feel bored, not ready or off mood. 

Start doing harder things and challenge yourself to level up every day. Lfg. 🔥🔥

No secret formula on how I achieved this. Just consistency. Showing up when it’s cold. When business feels uncertain. When motivation dips.

kindness goes a long way. this week, i had a call with an early stage builder. ♥️♥️

he spoke about his idea like it mattered. because it did. not just to him, but to the people he was trying to help.

you could feel it.

i remember thinking, this is what building actually looks like in the beginning. messy. uncertain. hopeful.

within a day, i introduced him to 5 or 6 people in my network so he could validate his idea properly. shared some honest feedback from my side too.

not because i had to. because someone once did that for me.

people helping people. that is how ecosystems grow.

at Stories that Stir®Global in sydney this week, i was reminded of this again. six incredible humans stood up and shared stories that were vulnerable, real and deeply human.

every story had something special in it.

and it hit me.

we spend so much time chasing titles, wealth, assets, status.

but one day, we leave all of it here.

you will not carry your bank balance with you.
you will not carry your job title.
you will not carry your property portfolio.

you will leave it all on this planet.

what stays is the impact you had.
the people you lifted.
the hearts you touched.
the rooms you made better.
that’s what i want to do with LiveHaus. 

this is also a testimony to the great work akshat is doing at the hackerhouses built by arrayah in sydney and bringing in awesome builders such as Param from Lifelong - Family Health. 

clap when someone has an idea.
clap when they are still figuring it out.
clap when they need validation, not visibility.

do not wait for the headline to support them.

be the person who shows up early.

because kindness compounds.
and people remember how you made them feel long after the numbers fade.

that is the real legacy.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰. Wars. Division. Uncertainty everywhere. And then a festival like Holi comes along and reminds us of something beautifully simple:

Not just the colours we throw on each other today but the colours that come from people, conversations, ideas, laughter, and community.

🫶 Holi has always been about people coming together.
🫶 Breaking barriers.
🫶 Letting go of grudges.
🫶 Celebrating new beginnings.

In many ways, that’s exactly the spirit behind what we’re trying to build with LiveHaus.

Rooms where founders, operators, creators and curious minds come together.
🔥To exchange ideas.
🔥To share stories.
🔥To build genuine connections.

Because in a world increasingly driven by AI, algorithms and screens:

We’re thinking of launching 1-2 new Hauses in Sydney over the next few months. One of them might replace an existing vertical. One might become permanent.

We don’t guess. We build based on signal.
