Women in eDiscovery (WiE) is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities regarding technology in the legal industry to its members. The organization offers networking and leadership avenues, promotes personal and professional growth of women, and donates mentoring and charitable contributions to its communities. WiE incorporates a broad network of women volunteers who uplift and support each other and work together to recognize and honor each other’s achievements. WiE is comprised of professionals within the legal industry including attorneys, litigation support professionals, paralegals, legal IT staff, court reporters, consultants, recruiters and vendors.

Since its inception in 2007, Women in eDiscovery has grown globally with thousands of members and 31 chapters. The Executive Board has appointed Regional Directors that work in conjunction with each member elected Chapter Board.

As Chapter Meetings Director for Women in eDiscovery, I plan and organize all programs and events with the help of chapter board members and formed committees including contacting potential speakers and sponsors for upcoming meetings and events. 

I also develop the NYC Chapter meeting content with our speakers and coordinate the invitations to our members. I assist in promoting our chapter events with the with the assistance of our chapter board. This includes announcing our meetings, events, blogs and other news through the WiE website and social media sites.

Over my time there, I helped expand the team from 4 to 11, and grow event revenue from $200K to $1.8M annually. I started my career in various administrative support roles, growing quickly into high-level executive support roles, including serving the SVP of Sales and a sales force of 50 at Merrill Corporation as an Executive Assistant.
