Scaling the best ideas from Ad Astra, the school our cofounder started with Elon Musk at SpaceX. Synthesis teaches kids 8 to 14 collaboration, critical thinking, and decision-making skills by challenging them to wrestle with complex simulations of real-world problems.

As the Director of Marketing I was responsible for setting the strategy and overseeing marketing functions including user acquisition, customer LTV through communication strategies, lifecycle engagement campaigns, conversion efforts, and product marketing.

Within 8 months, as a team of 3 in the marketing team, managed to spearhead their growth efforts and scale the number of paying subscribers by 340%

The cool school I never had.

For the last few years I've been blessed to be welcomed into the The House of KOKO - I'd meet a true mentor in the founder and CEO, Olly Bengough and make some incredible friends who have helped me to start to express myself. 

I realised that is actually what the space is, a place where I can express myself and just be myself, and feel really good. 

Why is that important?
Because when I'm there I'm unafraid, and I want to live my biggest self. 

Imagine that was school.

This photo for instance is a night we held where I interviewed Ivy Xu the exited founder of Prequel and we held a series of interactive sessions – we'd built an adult classroom on a Jazz stage.

I was back in school, but it was really cool this time. It was the school I never had that I believe can exist in the world. 

We had unknowingly created an intentional space for creativity. And we just want to keep doing more of that.
