Career advice to 18 year olds:

- Work for free to build your network
- Work for someone you admire
- Upskill in your spare time
- Do the apprenticeship
- Learn on the job

Just don’t think you need more knowledge to get started.

Ps. I speak to a lot of very rich people and they admire initiative. Show some.

7 ‘unscalable’ things I did to get from 0 → 1M revenue:

(I still do some of these today)

1. Took proposals at 3am 
2. Worked for free for my first clients
3. Wrote for and managed 20+ clients alone
4. Tailored every project to overdeliver for clients
5. Sent 100s of personalised looms to connections 
6. Shadowed an entrepreneur around London for free
7. Travelled to clients offices to deliver free in person trainings

If you’re just getting started:

Don’t worry about ‘systems’, ‘efficiency’ or ‘balance’
Worry about signing clients, delighting them and gathering xp. 

You can do the fancy stuff later. 

My approach:

Do what no one else will until you have the ability to do what no one else can.

POV: You started one of the UK’s most exciting businesses with your younger brother.

Three years ago, all I heard was advice against working with family:

- “It’ll make things awkward.”
- “You’ll have major fallouts.”
- “It’ll ruin Christmas.”

Pretty much a unanimous vote that it wouldn’t work.

But today, I couldn’t imagine going into business with anyone else.

↫ Trusting them to put the business first.
 ↫ Trusting them to put in the work.
 ↫ Trusting them with the money in the bank.

And honestly, trusting them to make the right decisions, at the right time, for the right reasons.

Like marriage, choosing a business partner can be the best (or worst) decision of your life.

And in my experience, having one who understands you, trusts you, and will know you for the rest of your life… isn’t a bad idea 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, together with the team, we’ve spent the last 3 months building something massive.

It’s the wildest idea we’ve had, the most we’ve ever given away, and the biggest campaign we’ve ever launched (by far).

After 3 years, 20+ hires, 2 offices, and more campaigns than I can shake a stick at...

And the craziest part?

In January this year, my brother and I took a few pretty big risks. 

1. Changing noticed. from remote to in-person. 
2. Moving into our first-ever office. 
3. Hiring 6 new people.

All within the space of 4 weeks. 

And for anyone who runs a business or manages a budget, you know what the stress was like.

Brutal.

But today, nearly a year later, things look a little different...

We spent 2025: 

- Launching creative campaigns for global brands. 
- Generating millions in views & revenue. 
- Hiring even more great people. 

And somehow, the risks my brother and I took paid off. 

It's been wild, and I couldn't be more grateful that the pressure we placed on ourselves helped us to grow. 

Because I wouldn't wish those worried nights on anyone. 

That being said...

Does that mean we learned from the stress? 
Does that mean we now hate risks? 
Does that mean we're done? 

Absolutely not. 

Next week, we're launching something BIG. 

And all I can say as a hint is that part of it is that we're going to be giving away THOUSANDS of pounds in cold hard cash to people just before Christmas.

Here's the story of how 2 working-class brothers built a multi-million-pound marketing agency in just 3 years ⬇️

At 18, I thought I was going to be a professional footballer. 

Today, I run one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in the UK. 

And although it was a brutal journey...

Here's what it taught me: 

One thing that anyone who knows football understands, is that for a young kid, it's a ton of pressure. 

By 16, I'd been: 

- Told I would never be good enough. 
- Told I was going to 100% make it. 
- Left out of the squad for match day. 
- Been picked for the first team squad. 
- Been given a 4-year contract and praise. 
- Been released & had to find another club. 
- Played against household name players. 
- Been sent home from training for making an error. 

It's a brutal rollercoaster. 

But I can safely say, all those lessons I hated learning at the time prepared me for today. 

As we speak, my business noticed. is one of the fastest-growing marketing agencies in the UK. 

We've had a lot of praise, but the journey has also looked like:

- Growing quickly and signing clients. 
- Losing out on big pitches. 
- Hiring amazing people. 
- Learning how to manage a team. 
- Coping with stress in bad times. 
- Managing positives in good times. 

And riding the wild ups and downs that come with business. 

Rejection, stress, hardship, success, doubt and everything in between. 

Together, both taught me that it's not about the feeling I have today, it's about taking a step forward, getting better, riding the wave, and being able to enjoy life through it all. 

A little adversity goes a long way in life. 

And even if you fail, oftentimes it prepares you for the next stage of your life, even if you don't know what's coming. 

Or at least that's what happened with me 🤷‍♂️

An internal marketing debate we've been having recently is: 

What's more important: 

1. The Creative Marketing Idea Around a Campaign. 

- The exposure of it. 
- The likes shares, and views. 
- The PR coverage around the idea. 

or 

2. The Substance & Value Behind The Campaign. 

- The quality of the thing the campaign is pushing.
- The value people physically get. 
- The thing you give away or sell.

Although the answer seems to be a bit of both, surely one has more impact than the other?

This year, we've had over 15,000,000 organic views on our marketing campaigns. 

But today I'm on set filming, what I think is the best we've ever launched.  

So to fill the time waiting to get on set...

Here's why planned marketing campaigns are essential to getting customers for any business ↴

Most business owners/marketer I speak too or see tend to all make the same mistakes.

They: 

- Run constant marketing.
(Organic, ads, ppc etc..) 
- Try and beat last month, every month. 

And pretty much try and A/B test their way to success with static creatives and high volume, low signal activity. 

But I’ve found the opposite works. 

Over the last few years we’ve run our campaign structure in a simple way: 

1 large idea per quarter. 
1 sales asset/resource to drive traffic toward. 
1 creative strategy, direction and theme. 

All combined into one large scale launch campaign per quarter. 

This makes things: 

- More exciting for the viewer/buyer. 
- More engaging for the creative. 
- More likely to convert. 

And more simple to track. 

Plus, it’s a great way to build brand and momentum around your business.
