Promoted to the role of Area Sales Manager to lead a team in NEXA, the newly launched premium channel of Maruti Suzuki, in 2016. Over next 2 years, the area of management included states of Uttar Pradesh followed by Odisha and Chhattisgarh. 

NEXA being a completely new concept, starting operations of channel partners from scratch was priority. This included recruitment, training and motivation of manpower alongwith sales planning and constant monitoring for process implementation as per NEXA standards. 

Gained experience of offering premium experiences to customer and maximizing sales potential in markets to achieve monthly sales targets.

Area Manager

Worked as a Territory Sales Manager with Maruti Suzuki in the North-East region, India. 

Role entailed managing day-to-day operations including key sales performance monitoring, manpower motivation, inventory check and financial health of the channel partners, with an objective to maximize sales potential. Territory was predominantly a rural market with varied demographics. Hence extensive sales promotion was needed to develop market and improve penetration.

In 2013, relocated to Delhi (within the same role), a completely urban market. Being a highly competitive market, entire focus was on increasing profitability of channel partners. Using innovative promotional efforts along with team motivation and resource optimization, consistently achieved sales targets and ensuring high dealer profits.
