After 25+ years as a journalist (I got my first paid gig when I was 12), I used what I knew from working inside newsrooms on 3 continents (plus freelancing) to teach entrepreneurs how to pitch the media and land real coverage.

My first online course Baby Got Booked had a 96% success rate - clients landed TV interviews, feature articles, radio spots and their own columns in Inc, Entrepreneur and HuffPost even though most of them had never pitched the press before. 

I noticed that everyone got press (96%)  but not everyone got the business growth that was supposed to come of it. 

So I interviewed my most successful clients and figured out that there was a framework to a company that grew fast and reliably. I started using it with private clients. 

Once I had proof of concept, I turned it into a group program called Impact With Influence. I helped clients go from idea to making 6 and 7 figures (in one case from $0 to $3.6M in under 3 years).

I grew my own company to $2.4M and had a team of people I loved. 

Between 2020 and 2023, I suffered from a mysterious illness that robbed me of my drive, my energy and my belief in coaching and process. So I shut my company down in 2022.

It turned out to be viral-induced chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). I took a 2 year sabbatical where I rethought everything I previously believed. 

Now I coach those who are also redefining themselves and their vision after disruption. I help them figure out what they really want and build in the systems and support they need to go after it in a well-being first way. 

Some of the tools I use include mindfulness, co-active coaching, journaling and consulting from my years as a messaging and sales coach.
