I’m Sabrina, I’m known as the No Bullsh*t Entrepreneur, because I say things how they are. I prefer to keep things real instead of portray a life of constant success and happiness. 

 Now, I like to consider myself pretty happy and successful, but life just ain’t perfect all the time… so why pretend that it is online?! 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m also the one who posts the things that you’re thinking, but are too afraid to say them.

Too scared of the backlash? Yeah, I used to be, until I started getting backlash anyway. So I just started posting whatever I thought.

This year, I’m filled with gratitude, even though it’s arguably been the worst year of my life. 

But it’s because I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without some genuinely kind people who have been there for me. 🥰

This post is just to say thank you to several people that I'm lucky to have in my life. 

Rochelle Hibbert: my legendary creative manager. Many bad employees have come & gone, but Rochelle has always stayed by my side. During the most difficult parts of this year, Rochelle has stepped up, managed clients excellently and helped keep the lights on, allowing me to take the time out that I needed. 

Natalie Connor: the most incredible friend, but also kickass lawyer around. I already know she's a vibe to hang with but LegalEdge handled a legal case for me this year while I was dealing with grief... made it as stress-free as possible, getting me the outcome I wanted too!

Ten Trinity Square Private Club - my favourite place to work, rest & play. I've been a member of most private members clubs in London, but this is by far my favourite one! I am so grateful I have somewhere so wonderful to escape to when the business is too stressful!

“I’m sorry, but you don’t really look very trustworthy”. 
→ This is what someone said to me yesterday. 😢

“And you don’t exactly scream success”

These words have sat with me ever since and I can’t shake them off. 

I’ve been running my own business for 18 years, and I STILL can’t be trusted. Because of the way I look. 😫

I was introduced to someone yesterday at a WeWork, as someone who was “an excellent marketing consultant, who could definitely help grow your brand”. 

But they did not trust a word I said. They laughed at every major brand I worked with saying: “No way they would have trusted you.” 🤦🏾‍♀️

They were more vocal about it than usual, so I decided to ask specifically what it was. 

“Well, you’re wearing trainers for starters”

I was like WTF? Shoes determine trust? And they were Prada trainers anyway haha 😅

“You have to bring your dog to work and you’re sitting in a WeWork - you’re obviously not that successful.”

I chose to work out of a WeWork yesterday for a change of scenery and because they’re dog friendly. 🐶🐶🐶

I was excited that I GET to bring my dog to work! I didn’t think it was a negative. 

It really threw me off, because when I’ve dressed smartly and been in fancier places, I have been told that I’m clearly trying too hard and so that doesn’t build trust. Successful people don’t need to try. 

And when we had our own branded offices, I was told that it was too shabby and it would look better if I was in a coworking space that was modern and new.
 
So, what on earth do I do?! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Who knew trust and respect was so dependent on image?

I guess I understand why so many people BS their way through business. 

My worry is - if I have nearly 2 decades of experience, a portfolio of clients, great testimonials and still can’t demand respect, is the game just completely rigged to those with a better image?! 🤔

I am predicting 2026 will be very different. People are fed up of the bullsh*t. 

Plus, people are seriously running out of money. So, the BS tactics need to stop and people need to start making actual money. 💰

Well, people still can’t do EVERYTHING themselves, so I will still be doing my Fractional CMO stuff, my strategy days, keynotes and my chess for business workshops. 

Here, I just want to help people sniff out the bullsh*t, not get ripped off, and support their businesses so they can have the life they truly want.

There are soooo many bullsh*tters on here, but they’re getting VERY good at persuading people they’re legit. So… how can you tell who’s a fexpert and who’s the real deal?? 🤔

I’ve been doing my bullsh*t roundups for a while now, but the questions I always get asked is HOW I know.

Now, I like to get my Jessica Jones on, so I dig harddddddd into people and speak to a lot of sneaky confidantes. 🤫

BUT, there are also clear signs.

So, I’m starting my How to spot a bullsh*tter series, where I help you work out who is legit and who is not.

Part I: The fexpert with a big following.

How to spot a bullsh*tter: the fexpert

🚨 Bullsh*t SCAM alert! 🚨

Don’t get caught out by yet another sophisticated-sounding scam designed to scare you into spending money you don’t need.

I’ve now received multiple emails from so-called “legal professionals” telling me someone is trying to register a trademark for my business name - and that I have 24 hours to act, or I could lose everything.

At first glance, these emails seem very official:

⚖️ Quoting the Trade Marks Act
📨 Using an SRA ID number
💼 Linking to what looks like a legitimate application process
⏳ And applying pressure with phrases like “final notice” and “we will proceed without your consent”

But, it's all bullsh*t!!! The truth is:

👉 There is no legal requirement for a solicitor to contact you like this
👉 There is no 24-hour rule under UKIPO
👉 No one has filed anything - they’re just trying to get you to pay them to register through their service

It’s not a trademark conflict... it’s a sales funnel.
Sprinkled with some legal urgency for added effect. 

I'm taking the time to file a formal complaint agains this guy, because he's using his position of authority to scare entrepreneurs out their hard-earned cash. 

This isn’t just one shady person either - it’s a wider pattern of manipulation that targets entrepreneurs who don’t know how the trademark system works. 😢

These people know exactly what they’re doing. They rely on your fear, and want you to panic.

And too many people are falling for it.

Stay safe and spread the word. I don't want people to fall for this bullsh*t.

I've had many DMs from people SHOCKED that bullsh*t happens in business!

"Surely people wouldn't be that dishonest to win work?!?" 😱

Oh honey, I kinda wish I were that naive too. 

I guess I used to be. And in some ways, I still can be. 

I WANT to believe the best in people, but they keep showing up with new ways to deceive. 

A lead came in off the back of my How to Spot a Bullsh*tter post as they were gutted they didn't see it 6 months ago. 💔

In that space of time, they've lost £33k on a personal brand "guru". 😢

Promising the earth and only delivering engagement pods and vanity metrics. 

These are NOT the only dirty tactics being used at the moment. 

Small business owners are being targeted, and I've done a video on some of the biggest scams atm.

I sent one cold email on behalf of my client and earned her £46k.  🔥

I’ve totally got the outreach strategy down to an art, and my results are incredible. 💪🏽

Yes it took a fair amount of research, I approached the right person, and I spent a long time crafting the perfect email… but it was totally worth it. 

BULLSH*T!

So yeah, I won her a £46k client which started with a cold email.  

BUT, it wasn’t just down to me perfecting the email! It was also down to the fact she’s a complete badass at what she does, she has tons of experience and incredible case studies, and we’ve been working on her brand reputation across various different channels. 🙌🏽

So, when the email landed, everything else added up. 

Plus, it took months to convert!! 🥵

Please stop taking things in isolation and painting the picture that suits you. 
Also give credit where credit is due!!

Your job as a marketer is sooooo much easier, if your client is legit and is willing to put in the work too.

I watch around 20 hours of TV a week. 

Apparently this means I’ll never be successful 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

👎🏽I also don’t wake up at 4:30am to “get ahead”...
👎🏽I don't meditate and shout affirmations at myself in the morning
🤭I love my booze and rarely go a week without drinking
🤭I love cake and crisps and don't take loads of supplements 

According to most of the gurus, I'm a total and utter failure. 

But yet, I feel like I've got a kinda comfortable life...

💕 I own my own three-bed, two-bath flat in Zone 2, London.
💕 I travel abroad at least once a month, plus regular staycations.
💕 I’m a member of multiple private members’ clubs.
💕 I have multiple wardrobes full of designer clothes.
💕 I have a busy, healthy social life and go out a couple of times a week.

To me, this is pretty successful, as I'm living a life I actually enjoy.

To others, that won't be enough - no yacht, no lambo, no giant house with a pool etc. 

But that's why you need to carve your own definition of success. 

The bigger lie is this idea that following a guru’s checklist guarantees anything... it doesn’t. 

I do pretty much the opposite of what they preach and still get great results.

🙌🏽 Turns out discipline doesn’t have one aesthetic.
🙌🏽  Ambition doesn’t require suffering as proof.
🙌🏽  And productivity isn’t cancelled out by joy.

So, I'm gonna go back and rewatch the entire MCU timeline, in between an entire week of football that's lined up. 

But watch me still smash my goals while doing it. 

Turns out success doesn’t mind if you enjoy your life.

Is AI just ruining everything when it comes to entrepreneurship? 🤔

Because I can’t genuinely think of anything it’s made better. 

😫 I don’t understand what businesses do because it’s filled with BS buzzwords
😫 Everyone sounds exactly the same online, despite the “custom GPT”
😫 People have lost the ability to think…because they don’t need to
😫 No one actually has an opinion anymore - they just agree
😫 Creativity? Pah - it’s all just generic AF now

I am TIRED of speaking to robots… and guess what? I’m not the only one!!!

Do you really think that AI is making you sound better? It’s actually EMBARASSING. You sound stupid. You really do. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Everyone can tell it’s AI. You’re not fooling anyone. 

Those who bumlick you in the comments are only doing it for their own personal gain, not because they think you’re insightful. 

Honestly, if you have any self-respect left, go pick up a damn book - read how a human sounds for a bit. Better still - go SPEAK to someone; go touch some grass! 🌾

You AI-shaggers may think you’re being super productive and getting ahead of the pack, but you’re not.

Yinka Ewuola

Her birthday gift made me cry

And the gift wasn't even for me.

Dolly Parton has long been a source of inspiration for me.
But when I gave birth to my youngest, her inspiration took on a whole new level for me....

See, I live in an area where her Imagination Library supports child literacy

So she sent a book every month, to my son - from the time we registered, just after he was born - all the way until his 5th birthday.

On his 5th birthday, she sent him a digital card, where she sung him the iconic line from her classic song 'I will always love you'

And honestly I cried LIKE A BABY
It was beautiful. It was poignant.
But even more important, we had 60 books that she helped pay for to prove it.

She uses her cash to send MILLIONS of books to children across the world in tribute to her father, who she says truly celebrated what she had created in the project.

“Before he passed away, my Daddy told me the Imagination Library was probably the most important thing I had ever done. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me because I created the Imagination Library as a tribute to my Daddy. He was the smartest man I have ever known but I know in my heart his inability to read probably kept him from fulfilling all of his dreams."

Illiteracy killed his dreams
So she never wanted that for anyone else

So she dreamt of a different future for the world, and used HER MONEY to make it so. Now the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library sends books monthly to over 3 million children across the world.

She began... and it was tough in the beginning, but was able to bring in so many others on this amazing mission.

That's what happens when incredible people, with hearts for others, have more money in their hands...

And this story fuels me so strongly when I feel low.
My son's love of books was built in part to his Aunty Dolly's mission and purpose!

She's never met him, yet she sent her love anyway

And that's why more incredible humans need more cash in their hands.

Because they don't just say they will always love you
They get to show it too.

Today, I finally completed an 'Impossible' move 

And saw the success principle play out.

I've been practicing a strength and flexibility move weekly since last June...
And have failed every single week.

In fact that's not quite true

Because I've been practicing twice a week 
For those 33 weeks...

And failing twice a week
For those 33 weeks...

66 attempts...
66 fails

But this morning...

At my 67th attempt.

not only did I complete it...
I repeated it 🎉🎉🎉

Something clicked in my body and created a strength I haven't felt in almost a year!!

Reminding myself of Nelson Mandela's inspiring words

Because trying again and again and again
And seemingly getting no where, made it feel like
'Nothing's working'.

If you've been working hard on your business and are yet to see the results, this one is for you...

Building a 'rich and rested' business by focusing on your cashflow might seem impossible.
You may have tried all the things...
And yet you're still feel like you're missing the memo.
I want you to know that you can do it!!

You can get this done if you're determined to do so

Those 66 fails are a distant memory for me right now
Cause I have 1 thumping resounding SUCCESS 🎉🎉🎉

But only because I got back up again

I attempted for the 67th time today

And that's where the win came...
That makes those 66 attempts.

I'm walking on cloud 9 today!

I used to think that sales would save my business

Then a phone call proved me wrong.

I secured the most incredible multi-6 figure sale a few years back.
✅P.O Secured
✅Contracts Signed
✅Invoice raised

It was going to change my life, I could feel it
I had no idea just how much

I was so excited, and my contact and I were in constant contact moving towards the start point...

Then things changed
- Deadlines missed
- Delayed responses
- Vague timelines and even vaguer details

I wasn't worried. I had the sale. 
I had the contract. It had the penalty clauses...

Then came the silence.
The ghosting
The feeling that I'd gone from partner to pesterer

And then the bombshell phone call dropped

'Priorities changed'
My contact had left the organisation
The contract was being rescinded and the sales was gone.
❌No cash...
❌No recourse. 
❌No nada!

My heart 💔💔💔
My bank account 🤷🏾‍♀️
My education🚀🚀🚀

The painful reality reminded me that SALES may never actually materialise into revenue, and you may NEVER get that cash.

You can't spend sales.
You can't scale with sales alone
You can't see your sales in the bank account

It's why I'm evangelical about the cash...
Because it's the last part of the process... and so you have get all the things upstream sorted to get it to come out!

Focus on the cash.
It's not vanity... 
It's not selfish.
It's the realest and ONLY thing that keeps your business in business
At every size and stage

(and I hadn't even really gotten started that day!)

Only 3% of women feel more attractive without makeup

Yet we're told 'avocado toast' is the financial villain

As I continue my book research
And how money impacts women uniquely and specifically
This stat from the Renfrew Centre Foundation study (2012) stopped me in my tracks

97% of women feel less attractive than without makeup...

The average US woman spends almost $1,800 per year on makeup
Brits have the 4th highest spend in the world on makeup

And yet I've never heard ANY ONE REALLY speak to reducing it as a spending item...
Because the notion of it goes far deeper than the money we spend

Society has monetised female insecurity, so that budget line feels sacred.
The last thing they want you doing is feeling secure enough to leave the house without your armour!
So lets villainise coffee and avocado toast instead. 🤯🤯🤯

And No... I'm not starting a 'don't wear makeup' movement.
Wear what you like. 
You are grown!
I generally don't wear makeup and have no concern or problem with who does... (my sister Lanre is a Vogue featured makeup artist, that will never be my hill!)

My thing here is THINKING...
Asking questions about what we're taught.
Asking who benefits from the answers we come up with.

If you bought a coffee at $3.40 per day, 5 days per week for a full 52 week year, that would still not come up to half of what US women spend on makeup on AVERAGE every year...

The biggest financial villains of all
❌Lack of confidence
❌Distraction
❌A lack of critical thinking
❌Giving away your power
❌A self perception that leaves you feeling 'less than' in any way

These are the things we need to guard against
Before we can even really be clear
About what we're spending on and why!

We spend in line with our values
But where did we get them from... that's the real question.

As I went from 5 figures in debt to 7 figures net worth, the biggest change wasn't WHAT I was doing, but WHY I was doing it...

Everything about money shifts when you ask better questions...

Busy-ness isn't business.

Here's 13 'Wantrepreneur' habits leaving people 'Busy & Broke'

We say we want to run business
So we get busy
Doing everything else instead

And fall into 'Wantrepreneurship'
Instead of Entrepreneurship

We waste time, energy and focus doing things like

W - Waiting for Opportunities 
A - Asking for Permission to be visible or charge
N - Networking without intention 
T - Tweaking your websites and sales pages
R - Reading another book or jumping on another course
E - Experimenting without commitment
P - Procrastinating on sales 
R - Running Away from tough stuff 
E - Expecting clients to find you 
N - Neglecting to build your pipeline 
E - Editing copy & posts to perfection 
U - Undercharging to avoid discomfort 
R - Relying on hope for your cashflow

And then wonder why we don't get the results we want.

It's time to shift our habits to actually get what we came for
(for me that's all things Rich & Rested ™️)

But know that without a change in your habits, you will not see a change in your results!

No point bringing the same bad habits into a new season.

So ditch 'Wantrepreneurship' Mode
And let's get to work!

In my most impactful year in business to date

My word for the year was 'Salesy'

I wanted 'salesy'
I wanted people to know how much I cared
I wanted to be that person making offers constantly
I wanted people to feel my love and passion for their business

I was not going to shrink
I wasn't going to hide
I was going to make offers and solve problems with my full chest!

And all of that happened, because I rediscovered what SALES actually was, and what it ACTUALLY meant

See, when we hear the word 'salesy' we think
❌Sleazy
❌Annoying
❌Self-centered
❌Pushy (possibly greedy too)
🤮We feel like we need to take a shower after that experience.

But that isn't what salesy means, or actually is

✅Sales is communication (to sell, truly is human)
✅Sales is service
✅Sales is what those who care most get really good at to help others
✅Sales is transformation
✅Sales is the most potent and generous support
✅Sales is an exchange of values, and value

Sales is the biggest favour you give yourself and the world simultaneously

When your product helps others, and creates benefit for the world
Sales is LOVE and Care in Action.

So yeah, I was sent a connection request from someone who helps people to get clients without being salesy

And that fabulous person inspired me today.
Because WE are NOT aligned
I am quintessentially salesy - and will be even more so

The people making the most impact in the world are salesy
Salesy is passion
Salesy is what will change the world

Sales isn't about money, it's about conviction
And I'm here for the people with the conviction needed to change the game.

It's no longer the word for the 'year'
Because it's in the foundations of how we do business...

Salesy is where it's at!

There's a powerful cashflow lesson here

It's just not the one most people expect.

See, We don't do that in these parts.
We mind the business that pays us.

And I'm sure there are plenty of cashflow lessons to be learned in this incredibly sad situation...
But, I'm not sharing them
(Not today at least!)

These are real people, with real lives and real pain.

I've seen hot takes on leadership, family, culture grief and estrangement. I've seen comparisons, villainizations' the whole shebang - and honestly... for me, not everything needs to be turned into a teachable moment for your business...

So all I can say is... 

If you run a business... 
Mind your business and go run your business.

✅Go make an offer for cash
✅Go offer to help someone
✅Go actually run your business

And stop making more money for people who live on your attention and don't pay your bills!!

Don't you dare post another thing about brand Beckham before you get out there and post something about your OWN brand!

That's how you'll actually help your cashflow 🤷🏾‍♀️

Here's one thing in your business I can guarantee

If you don't make the ask, the answer's always 'No'

And while so many have challenges with messaging, mindset and niches
The biggest reason why cash is so low for so many
Is simply because they're not asking for it.

Sound weird I know
And possibly even way too simple
But it's a fact that never changes...

Most people don't make cash
Because they don't make (enough, effective cash) offers

📌They're trying not to be salesy, so making no sales at all
📌They're too busy delivering their existing work continue securing new work
📌They're expecting to be able to rock up to the market and ask and sell on demand

But it's a fact as old as time.
Even the Bible, is James 4:2 reminds us that 'We have not, because we ask not'

And yet the great news, is that the studies show, people are 73% more likely to do something.... JUST BECAUSE YOU ASK THEM.
