I was in the Middle East,

Took a flight to Mexico for a friend's wedding.

I landed and saw the news.

“Pay me $15,000 and I’ll show you exactly what I’m doing with my business.” 

In 2021, 

I met a 24-year-old entrepreneur who was doing over $300,000 per month with his business. 

He ran a coaching business like mine.

Yet, 

His numbers were blowing mine out of the water.

So I reached out to him and asked him to show me what he’s doing.

He said sure, for $15,000 for an hour of his time. 

At the time, that wasn’t “comfortable” money for me.

I felt my stomach drop when he said the price. 

But I knew for a fact that I wasn’t going to get my business to where I wanted to be without learning from him.

So I pulled that trigger. 
 
I didn’t tell anyone about it either.

I knew they were going to tell me it was a terrible idea.

- “Are you crazy?”
- “This is financially irresponsible.”

Regardless,

I transferred him in full. 

Over the next 60 days, I made $100,000 in my business. 

That 1-hour coaching call didn’t just change my strategy.

It changed my identity.

I became the guy who was willing to give to get what he wants. 

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is usually one uncomfortable decision.

In the next 12 months, thousands of coaches will disappear from LinkedIn. 

Because they will fall into the same trap. 

 -Using ChatGPT to generate generic posts
- Posting “value content” that attracts no buyers
- Sending awkward cold DMs hoping something converts

This will lead to $0 months. 

After a while, this will become unsustainable. 

Many will have to go back to corporate. 

This is completely avoidable.

Because right now, LinkedIn is still one of the few places where a coach can build a real business with nothing more than:

• Clear positioning
• The right type of content
• And a simple system that turns attention into conversations

The window is still open.

But it won’t stay open forever.

The coaches who figure this out now will dominate the next few years.

My mind has been racing these past few days.

With everything happening in the world right now, 

People losing their homes.
Families separated overnight.
Entire cities waking up to uncertainty.

It forced me to think. 

To zoom out from my own little problems.
 
Because the reality is:

Most of us in the West wake up with something billions of people don’t have.

Stability.

There is actually no excuse for us not to become great.

If you have internet, a computer, freedom to build something

You are already have an unfair advantage.

Stop wasting the opportunities that people in other parts of the world would give anything to have.

I asked this university student whether LinkedIn is underrated or overrated. 

Her answer really surprised me.

When I was 22 and graduated university, most of my friends went traveling.

- Thailand.
- Bali.
- Asia for three months.

Meanwhile, I was in a coworking space trying to start my business.

Making almost no money.

Questioning whether I made the wrong decision.

I won’t lie, it felt like I was missing out.

It felt like I was behind.

But I made a choice.

I chose delayed gratification.

I chose to build first and enjoy later.

Fast forward a few years…

Now I travel when I want.

Work from wherever I want.

And I don’t need to “escape” my life, I designed it.

Most people optimize for now.

Very few optimize for later.

Timelines are a choice.

I stopped university students on the street and asked where they’d build a business: LinkedIn or Instagram.

Their answers caught me off guard.

Last week I cancelled my sales calls. 

Instead, I hosted a private coaching session and capped it at 11 coaches.

For 60 minutes, I broke down their content live.

I evaluated:

- Where their content was weak
- Why it wasn’t built to convert

And then I showed them:

- How to get buyers activated via content
- How to get convert them into paying clients 

After the call, one coach said:

“That was the most valuable breakdown I’ve ever received.”

Two joined my program immediately.  

For that reason,

I am doing it again this week.

Then there are others who post less frequently, but bring in $20k/month consistently. 

Same industry.

Similar skill level.

Very different results.

Because business is a positioning game.

If you don’t control how you’re perceived, the market decides for you.

If you show up as “helpful,” people appreciate you.

If you show up as the authority, people pay you.

Smart people struggle in business the most.

School trained them perfectly.

From elementary school there was always a protocol.

Follow the steps, and you would get good grades.

Good grades mean good opportunities.

Most people think business is the opposite.

False.

Business is the same game. 

There’s a protocol & structure. 

A way things need to be done if you want the outcome.

The problem is most coaches on LinkedIn are posting content without understanding the system behind the platform.

So they work hard, but the buyers never show up.
