I spearheaded a major transformation effort, prioritising stakeholder relevance and value delivery. The team's core focus areas encompassed client acquisition and retention, client discovery and solution design, payments and industry advisory, as well as proactive stakeholder engagement.

In this role, Victor was also accountable for the business deposit portfolio with over $100B in balances, generating over $1.3B in annual revenue.

Portfolio Director of Deposits Strategic Investment Programme at Westpac Group - accountable for successfully delivering a $100M Westpac Board-sponsored programme, transforming Westpac Group’s product and sales capabilities in response to the Global Financial Crisis. This programme achieved over $30B in incremental deposit growth, helping to lift Westpac Group’s deposit to loan ratio from under 60% to over 70%.

Programme Director of the Main Financial Institution Enabler programme, a strategic programme sponsored by the St.George Bank Group Executive Management team in 06/07. The programme had a budget of $15M and delivered key front line sales and service capabilities, empowering front line staff to drive increases in MFI customers through product cross-selling and superior customer service.

Victor has over 20 years' experience in financial services and technology. Before mx51, Victor was the Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Assembly Payments. Prior to that, Victor was the Head of Payments and Head of Transaction Banking & Deposits at Westpac Group.

With a background in payments, technology and digital transformation, Victor has worked across various financial institutions across the Asia Pacific region. Victor has a Bachelor in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales and a MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
