I worked with Unum's IDI Case Design Underwriters to provide them with details, research, communications, and case materials to help them manage our risk and allow us to stay a leader in the disability insurance field. 

Skills and Experience: 
-Designed and implemented an automated Salesforce-based report for IDI Underwriting area that provided Case Design Underwriters with a daily count of which cases were at different phases of the process (Sold, Quotes, etc.)
-Designed a Microsoft OneNote template to streamline my Case Facilitator team's data/analytics (2018)

Case Facilitator

While working at Unum as a Case Facilitator, I wrote stories as main writer, sourced department news story leads through networking with department to find the "word on the floor' on various topics from 2016-2017. I also Interviewed IDI dept employees, managers and other key department figures for newsletter content, supported Communications manager Jennie Petrie as the essential staff writer and content editor, supported her in the 2018 newsletter re-launch to a PoliteMail platform and provided feedback and ideas on re-design of newsletter. Came up with our engaging story series in 2018 that featured a Q&A with one of our IDI sales reps (this generated a lot of attention from Unum sales and from Unum IDI). Created interesting content using results from the 2018 rep sales score board. Uncovered a captivating human interest story as told by one of our departments tenured Account Managers. Copy edited newsletters on a weekly basis from Jan 2018-present.

After working at Unum as a Scholar Intern from June 2016 - June 2017, I was hired full-time at Unum as a Customer Experience Specialist. This role involved a highly-detailed 6-month training program, in which I received hands-on training in a wide variety of insurance roles and completed work in a variety of areas before being placed on Unum's Case Facilitator team in December 2017.
