Near Yellowstone, our 70-year-old family cabin bears the words: “Leave it better than you found it.”

As a high school English teacher turned marketing director, I’ve tried to “leave it better” with my words. Whether pitching to investors or providing feedback to a team member, I believe the best leaders infuse their language with intent and clarity. 

In nearly a decade at early-stage startups, I’ve worked in FinTech, AI, and Supply Chain Management. I’ve lived through three acquisitions—the good, the bad, and the ugly—and have also seen the need to build meaningful cultures at work. 

I spend my free time writing, coaching, and speaking about gender allyship—helping men, women, and everyone get out of boxes. Because if we want to leave a better world, we need to start listening to and believing each other. 

I hope that in everything I do, I never leave without leaving it better.
