From $0 → $5M ARR, there’s only one metric that tells you the truth:

Weekly MRR growth rate.

That’s it.

Not churn.
Not LTV/CAC.
Not dashboards with 47 charts.

Just one simple question:

Are you growing week over week?
And by how much?

At this stage, churn data is noise.
You don’t have enough customers for it to mean anything.

Your job isn’t optimization.
It’s momentum.

Once you cross $5M ARR, the game changes.

Now churn starts eating you alive if you ignore it.
Retention becomes real.
Data becomes meaningful.

And between $5–10M ARR, top-of-funnel growth takes over.

You’ve got the product.
You’ve got retention.

Now it’s about feeding the machine consistently.

But before $5M?

Stop overthinking.

I sent 17,500 cold emails in December.

The dashboard says I should feel confident.

Here’s what the numbers show on paper:

Looks… fine.

I tracked everything people tell you to track.
